Chapter 31

The voices coming from outside woke Thapki up. She looked at her left side and found Bihaan asleep on the other bed. She suddenly remembered that she was not at PN but Bua's house. She looked outside and realised that she had gone to sleep at some hour. She slowly got up from her place and went outside.

Outside she found her Bua talking to her grandson. Thapki called her name and ran into her arms. She started crying. Bua initially tired to stop her from crying but later on joined her in crying. After some time both stopped crying. Vinod had brought two chairs from some where for them to sit in. After having normal conversation Bua asked Thapki abt Bihaan.

Bua: "Where is ur husband?"

Thapki: "Bua Bihaan got tired so he finally went to sleep"

Bua: "How is his behaviour with u?"

Thapki (with a fake smile): "He is a nice person"

Bua: "And how is he as a husband?"

Thapki: "Y r u asking me all this?"

Bua: "Coz I can not see the glow of a married woman on ur face"

Thapki got up from her place and walked towards Bua's kitchen.

Thapki: "Bua I did not eat anything earlier so I am feeling hungry now. Can I have sthg to eat?"

Bua got up and followed Thapki into the small kitchen.

Bua: "I have tea prepared already. Come sit and eat all this"

Before Thapki could start eating, Bua looked at Thapki and asked.

Bua: "For how long will u b here?"

Thapki who was not expecting Bua to ask this question, looked at her face and got up from her place.

Thapki: "Bua I will go and check on Bihaan. He has also not eaten anything since morning"

Thapki did not wait for Bua's reply and walked into the bed room.

Thapki's sudden entry in the room woke up Bihaan. He looked at Thapki with confused look in his eyes.

Thapki: "Bihaan just get up... We need to go to my place now"

Bihaan who was still half asleep, got up and sat on the bed.

Bihaan: "Did u get the key to ur house?"

Thapki: "Ya I am getting the key. U just get ready... We r leaving now"

Bihaan nodded and Thapki walked outside the room.

Bua had sensed that Thapki was hiding sthg. She decided to talk to Thapki. But Thapki has decided that she will not tell anyone anything before it actually happens. When she came out, she told Bua that Bihaan urgently needs to go to her place and that they need the key to the house. Bua who wanted to make Thapki speak the truth, decided to postpone the discussion when she saw Bihaan coming out of the room.
