Dadi was lying on floor with pain clearly visible on her face. She apparently slipped on sthg and hit the floor. Every one rushed towards her. Bihaan picked her up in his arms and took her to her bedroom. The doctor was called which informed every one that there was nothing serious but due to her age, the fall has caused some injuries and pain in her body. He gave her injection for some relief from the pain and prescribed medicines. The guests after having dinner left.
Vasu, Dhruv, Shradha, Kiran and Preeti were sitting in the main hall.
Vasu: "How many times I have asked Maa ji to be extra careful in her walk but she is so careless. Wat was the need to leave her place when there were so many flower petals lying on the floor. See now she has slipped and has been given bed rest for god knows how long... Now who will take care of her at this stage"
Kiran: "Mom, Dadi had no fault in it. She wanted to come and announce the awesome Honey moon trip she had planned for the two couples but she slipped which is very unfortunate... And Sheena was with Dadi but this unlucky incident happened... Any way I will take care of Dadi after coming back from college every day"
Preeti: "But u have ur exams next month and u need to focus on ur studies. We must hire a nurse to take care of Dadi. Wat u say Mummy Ji??"
Shradha: "Of course as I and Dhruv will also be away on our honey moon... After all we must do as Dadi wanted and that is to have that 2 weeks trip abroad. Oh I am so excited... Oh I mean I was so excited but now in this situation I am so worried but I know u ppl can handle it well"
Dhuv nodded agreeing to wat Shradha has just said.
Vasu: "Yes I also want u and Dhruv to not miss ur honey moon as after all this is the golden time of ur marriage and u shd enjoy it the most"
Preeti: "So I guess its final that we r hiring a full time nurse for Dadi so that she can be attended well"
"There is no need for nurse" said Bihaan who had just entered the hall and had heard some part of the conversation.
Vasu: "If we do not hire a nurse then who will take care of Maa ji. We can not ask Suman to do that as she herself manages the kitchen and her daughter is also very young"
Bihaan: "I and Thapki will take care of Dadi. During such times, the patient needs love and care and a hired nurse can give care but no love"
Preeti: "But Bihaan Devar ji, u have to go on ur honey moon"
Bihaan: "Going on honey moon is not important as we can go for it any time but Dadi needs us more and for me Dadi's health is important than anything"
Vasu: "Okay as if u say so...Otherwise I wanted u to go on ur honey moon"
Sheena entered the hall and sat next to Vasu.
Sheena: "Aunty Bihaan is right. Dadi needs her family at this time and I will also help Bihaan in taking care of Dadi. After all she is my Dadi too"
