Chapter 27

Bihaan looked out of the door but found no one outside. It was when he looked down that he saw little Pari sitting in front of the door looking at him with loving eyes. He bent down and picked her up in his arms and kissed her both cheeks. Thapki looked at the two with love. He brought her in and closed the door.

Bihaan: "U just scared me... my bundle of joy"

Pari giggled in reply. She was still wearing her night suit.

Bihaan brought her to their bed and lied her down in the bed. Pari got up and hugged Thapki. Thapki hugged her back with full warmth.

Bihaan: "Now tell me wat r u doing here this early in the morning"

Pari: "Bihaan Chachoo it is my bday. I am here for my gift like last year"

Bihaan listened to her carefully and by the time Pari finished the line, the look of worry could clearly be seen on his face. Pari who was looking at him with inquiring eyes made a sad face when Bihaan did not say anything.

Pari: "U forgot my bday"

Bihaan: "No No I did not forget ur bday but I did not buy u a gift coz ur Thapki Chachi said that this time she will also go with me to buy the gift for u. So today we both will go and bring u one. Ok"

Lil Pari got excited and started clapping where as Thapki gave him a "when did I say that" look but Bihaan signalled at her with his eyes and Thapki got the clue.

Thapki: "Oh yes Pari beta. Now tell us wat u want for ur bday"

Pari moved towards Thapki and told her abt that Dora doll that she saw in that specific shop.After taking promise from the two abt the gift, Pari lied down in the bed between Thapki and Bihaan. After a little while the three of them were sound asleep.

Thapki and Suman were in Kitchen. Kiran and Shradha were handling decorations. Seeing Dhruv and Dadi's condition, a grand bday party at some hotel was postponed for few days and it was planned to have a small bday party at home. But as Pari was the only child of the house so the party was supposed to be big even at home.

Suman: "I can't stop laughing at u thinking that some ghost was at the door"

Thapki: "We could not c Pari sitting at the side of the door so we both got scared"

Suman: "I am sorry for that but lil Par is very attached to Bihaan devar ji and last year she took her first gift from Bihaan so this time she walked to ur room for her gift"

Thapki: "Don't be sorry Bhabhi... Pari is very dear to us. We are actually sorry that we forgot Pari's bady but I and Bihaan will go to Market in noon to buy the gift. Oh this reminded me that I have to get ready as Bihaan will be coming any time now"
