Chapter 60

The next few days had been normal routine. The family members were mostly busy with the new baby. But today was going to be a busy day as Kiran was coming back to PN with her husband for the first time after her marriage. The plan was to stay with the family and attend Sheena and Kabir's marriage which was starting the day after tomorrow.

Vasu had been very excited abt Kiran and Vicky's arrival. She had been passing instructions to Thapki and Suman as they were the only bahus who were available at the moment.

While making rice, Thapki suddenly felt so weak that in order to keep herself standing she had to hold the slab tight. Suman who was the only person in the kitchen noticed Thapki's action and her pale face. She quickly walked towards her and held her. She forcefully made Thapki exit the kitchen ensuring her that she will handle everything. Thapki did not want to leave but she was not in a condition to work. She went to her room and lie down in her bed. She was planning to take a 15 mins rest but without realising she kept on sleeping for few gud hours. It was Vasu's angry voice that woke her up. She was talking to some one... not some one but Bihaan. Thapki hurriedly got out of bed and entered the washroom. When she came out, she saw Bihaan putting a glass full of fresh juice on her side table.

Thapki: "I am sorry Bihaan"

Bihaan: "Sorry for wat?"

Thapki: "Maa was getting angry at u coz of me na?"

Bihaan: "No she was not. And u just come here and finish it all. Suman Bhabhi told me that u were not feeling well in the morning. Y don't u take care of urself?"

Thapki: "I m fine. Was just feeling weak and...."

He did not let her finish and made her sit on bed and handed her the glass of fresh juice.

Bihaan: "Btw this has been sent by Suman Bhabhi and Dadi is also getting worried for u. Just finish this and then get ready as Kiran might be reaching any time now"

Thapki looked at the wall clock and quickly finished her juice. She walked towards the ward robe and took out Bihaan's dress. She asked him to get ready and left the room to check out things in the kitchen.

When Thapki was walking downstairs, Vasu was scolding a servant. She noticed Thapki and called her.

Vasu: "So finally u r awake? I thought may be u will sleep for one month"

Thapki: "I am so sorry. I was just not feeling well so...."

Vasu: "So u decided to go on a sleep marathon. And wat is wrong with u? Y r u not looking well these days?"

Thapki: "Don't know but had been feeling dizzy and weak lately"

Vasu gave her face a closer look. She looked pale and sthg was different abt her. Wat was that? "Was she pregnant?" This thought made her anxious. Instead of grilling her some more, she got lost in her own worries. How can Thapki be pregnant?? But y not?? If Shradha is pregnant then Thapki can also be but y???? Y Dhruv could not have his own share of happiness? Y wd Dhruv's child share his/her toys with Bihaan's child? Wat if Bihaan's child is prettier than Dhruv's and gets all the love. She recalled how everyone loved Bihaan more than Dhruv. She blamed Bihaan's handsomeness for that not realising that his personality was also more lovable than Dhruv's who was a spoiled brat.

Thapki noticed Vasu being drowned in her own thoughts and thus did not miss the chance to run from the scene.

Kiran's presence brightened up the atmosphere of PN. It was after very long that all the Pandeys were having dinner together. Kiran noticed Thapki having very little food in her plate and she was only staring at it.

Kiran: "Y r u not eating anything? Its ur fav food"

Thapki: "Don't know. Lately when I look at food, I lose my appetite"

Kiran: "OMG r u pregnant?"

Vasu who was sitting close to Kiran heard the convo and held her breath at the last question.

Thapki (with a sad face): "No I am not"

Kiran: "How r u so sure?"

Thapki: "I had the test but the result was negative. It seems there is some issue with me but I am taking the medicine that the doctor had prescribed for me on regular basis"

Kiran: "Oh but don't worry u will conceive very soon and ur baby will be so so cute"

Thapki only smiled and looked at Bihaan who was having food and chatting with Vikram. She could not tell Kiran how distant Bihaan had been lately and with such distances, she did not expect to get pregnant any time soon. On the other hand Vasu who has heard the whole conversation and was delighted to know that Thapki was not pregnant yet got worried when she found out abt the medicine part. She did not want any competition this time. She had to do sthg but she was out of ideas at the moment.

Kiran had decided to throw a dholki party for Sheena and Kabir and was very excited abt it. They had only one night before dholki so she and Sheena started making plans.Suman who had been very tired left for her own room. Thapki also left for her room after giving promise to Kiran to help her in the morning with the preparations. Her mind at the moment was stuck at Bihaan. The change in his behavior was sthg she was worried abt. He would ignore her completely in the public and even in private, he would act caring but the love and romance had vanished from their lives. She needed assurance that he was still her loving Bihaan. After thinking abt it, she got up from bed and walked towards the ward robe and took out a bold silk lingerie and entered the washroom.

After giving company to Vicky till he left to sleep, Bihaan entered his room. The room was lit with dim lights and aromatic candles. He noticed Thapki in her silk gown so he quickly shut the door and turned back to see the whole room.

Thapki nervously walked towards him and hugged him from the back. It had been long since the two had been intimate like this. The perfume she was wearing was his fav and the perfume and her scent mixed together made him lose his mind completely. He held her by her arm and brought her to his front. The gown's strings got lose giving him the sight of her inner wear. He looked at her with love and lust and hugged her tightly. He realised that he had missed her scent, her touch, her blushing and her shyness so much. He hugged her tightly to save her from his own eyes thinking she might melt with the warmth. He put his lips on her now naked shoulder. The softness of the skin brought him great comfort. However she flinched at the contact. He did not stop and left a trail of kisses from her shoulder to her neck to her ear. She kept responding to each and every kiss through her uneven heartbeats. Bihaan finally held her face in his hands and his lips touch hers. The kiss took away all her worries and she gladly got lost in him.

Sheena was talking on phone and was pacing around the room. She was asked by Kiran to spend the night in PN as it had gotten very very late.

Sheena: "I do not have much time left. We need to do it tomorrow"

After listening to Kabir on the other side she again started speaking.

Sheena: "I do not care. I neither want to prolong this shadi drama nor I want ur name's mehndi on my hands. U think abt how u will do ur part and I will do mine. Tomorrow this shadi drama will end and Bihaan will be mine forever"

As she finished her sentence and turned, her face lost all the color by looking at the person standing in the door.
