Christmas Day

"Mommy!  Genny!  It's Christmas!  Santa came!"

I suddenly awoke to the sound of my sisters yelling about their joy of Christmas morning.  I loved Christmas as much as the next person, but after I got over the while Santa thing, I just wanted to sleep for a few extra hours.

"Genesis, come on.  I gave you an extra hour." My groaned from my doorway.  I looked up and moved the dogs from my bed.  Yes, there are tons of rooms and places to sleep, yet all three dogs decided to sleep in my bed.

"Pippi, Princess, Bella!  Outside!" Mom  commanded and all three of them jumped off my bed.

"Hi there Tegan.  Merry Christmas." I cooed to my baby sister as mom switched her onto the other arm.

We went down the stairs and saw the two girls sitting in front of the tree with huge smiles.  "Come on slowpokes!" Tori exclaimed as she rapidly beat her fingers against a red present with her name on it.

We all got situated and mom got her phone ready for pictures.  We did one at a time Tori, Stella, Me, and then Tegan.  Tegan went last because mom opened all of her presents for her.  The kid isn't even two months old, she's gonna sleep through most if it.

Stella and Tori were ecstatic about their presents that they had gotten from me, Mom and 'Santa'.   I had gotten them tickets to go see The Lion King on stage performed by the traveling Broadway cast.  I had also gotten them for mom and myself.

My presents were amazing!  I got a ton of Tarte, Too Faced, and Urban Decay makeup.  I also got a new luggage set, a collector's edition of all the Divergent books, two Capezio leotards, a ton of clothes, candy, a new pair of tap shoes, and the newest iPhone!

"Thank you so much mom!" I said as I got up and hugged her.  "You're welcome sweetness.  I love this necklace too!" She said.

I had gotten her a diamond necklace from Tiffany.  It had all of our first intitals in a little glass locket thing.  I was glad she liked it because it was hard to keep a secret!

A few hours later, our whole family was over.  Grandma and Grandpa brought most of the food since it was hard for mom to cook and juggle four kids.  I however did make red velvet cupcakes with Santa frosting decorations.

Uncle Ben and Uncle Blaine also showed up with their wives and kids,  to say the least our house was packed.  And we have a fairly big house!

Tegan got a ton of gifts even though she doesn't really know how to use most of the toys.  Most of it was stuff for her, to make moms life easier.

I got some other gifts from them too.  I got a fifty dollar iTunes card, a case for my new phone, a new guitar strap, bath bombs, and some more makeup.

Tori and Stella were running around with the younger kids while I helped in the kitchen after dinner.  "So can you release any movie details yet?" Uncle Ben teased.

"All I can say is that my script was drastically changed." I told him.

It wasn't a lie, I found out a few days after Nationals that the original movie was scrapped because it was too similar to another project going on at a rival production.  So they pulled out a script from a movie that was written a few years ago.  They were keeping me and Margot Robbie for the movie but the rest had yet to be determined cast wise.

It was now about a little girl that was raised in the jungle by wild animals.  When her animal family dies she is found by English explorers and brought to an orphanage.  There is a young woman who can't have children so she offers to take in the girl for a while.

It's a really interesting concept.  Me and Margot are obviously the leads but nothing else has been solidified.  It's really cool and I kinda like this more than the original idea I was cast for.

"Loser." He scoffed when I wouldn't tell him more.  "I don't even get to have all the details until I first show up to set, which isn't until April!" I laughed.  Yeah production also got pushed back a lot.  We start filming in mid April, should be finished by early October.  I don't know about press conferences and release dates yet.

After a long while, our family headed home and the little cousins packed up their news toys and left, while Stla and Tori took theirs up to their room.

I did the same and tried out my new tap shoes.  They were so pretty and I loved their sound.  I ended the night by opening up my Snapchat and posting to my story.

"Merry Christmas!  God bless to all of ya!"
