Micah Ajae-Lee is a Hunter, trained to kill. But her life has an un expected twist and goes downhill from there. The people she had learned to call family, killed. The race she had learned to kill, killed her heart. The race she never knew existed...
"Do you still miss her?" Jaehyo whispered from opposite me. He looked up at me from his hands, that were clasped tightly together in his lap. His dark eyes were the same they had been for a while; sad.

"everyday" I breathed.
It had been two weeks since Micah had been taken from us, and I felt like I was dying, slowly and painfully, my heart slowly breaking down into tiny little shards. It had been two weeks since Tao had gone into 'Evernight', two weeks since I had laughed, two weeks since the moment I had learned what it felt like to loose something precious.
Everything was falling apart.
"this life would've killed me, if I hadn't met her" I whispered and let my head hang low.
"Yukwon," Jaehyo reached his arm out from his seat on my bed across from me and put a hand on my shoulder "that girl is more dangerous then a loaded pistol, I'm sure she'll fight her way back to us; her family"
What if I wanted to be more then that? More then just a 'brother'? A clan mate ? A friend?
I looked up at the boy sitting on the other end of my bed, he slowly let his arm drop, and he smiled a weak smile. If I could smile back, I would've, but I can't. My bottom lip trembled slightly, and I closed my eyes as I gasped a quiet sob. Jaehyo breathed out sadly and slid closer to me, he wrapped his arm comfortingly around me and patted my back.
"it's ok" he muttered.
I hugged him back, and willingly let the rare water fall from my eyes. No. It's not ok.
Luhan-
"I just don't know what to do" I muttered as I lifted my head from my hands.
"none of us do," Chen muttered from his spot looking out of the window, he turned to looked at us. "I mean, we're all confused, Micah-"
"don't bring her up" Kai interrupted him, "just-" he closed his eyes and shook his head "don't "
"sorry, I-" Chen broke off with a sigh and pushed off from the wall he was leaning on. He paused behind me and patted my shoulder before walking into the kitchen.
I took a deep breath and breathed out through my mouth, I glanced at Kris who was sitting next to me. He wasn't in his best state, he normally held his head high and always had this look of confidence on his face. But, I couldn't see any of this now. His head hung low in between his shoulders, and there was no confidence in his face. And when one of our strongest is weak... It scares me a little. But yet it comforts me, knowing that you don't have to be strong all the time.
It's strange to think that; we have gotten so close to a girl that we have only known for at least half a year. Is it that we have distanced ourselves from any kind of living life for so long, that we forgot what it was like to learn to love someone? We forgot how to cherish?
