4- Explanations

I blinked twice.

"wh-what?"

I braced a hand on the lounge behind me and began to sit up. My breath caught in my throat as pain sprouted in my shoulder, Kris put a light hand on my back and helped me to sit up. I muttered a 'thank you' and sat cross legged on the lounge and looked at each of them in the eyes.

"hybrids?" I repeated, as my eyes met Kris's.

He nodded. "a hybrid of a Werewolf and Hunter"

A Werewolf and a Hunter? No it's not possible, no one would ever, I looked down at the black leather and argued with my self.

"no. It's.. It not possible." I said shaking my head and looking back up at them.

"anythings possible." Tao said with a small shrug.

"but-" I began

"we were not accepted by either race," Jaehyo began.
I stayed silent and listened.

"Hunters didn't accept us, neither did Werewolves. We were excluded, no matter how much we tried to prove our selves worthy they shot us back down. So we left, joined up, made our own clans, we hunt demons but we still- we still hunt animals, drink blood and... yeah..." He finished. His eyes flickered to Luhan when he said the last bit.

"since when did Werewolves drink blood?!" I asked hysterically.

"well, when you become a hybrid, different things happen to you, for instance we got fangs and the need for human blood," Jaehyo continued "some of us are used to the smell of human blood- but some of us aren't and your blood, it's- it's um, how do I put this?" He asked himself, running a hand through his black hair.

"attractive." Luhan said, "I'm surprised you've lived this long with out being bitten." He added.

I raised my eye brows in shock, and blinked fast in confusion.

"why-how ?" I looked to Kris. He shrugged and glanced to his right.

"probably because you're pretty."
I sought out the owner of that voice, and stared at him in shock. Kai shrugged and smiled at the ground. I heard Kris exhale and I looked at him, he was rolling his eyes.

"well it's true, you are. " Xiumin smiled and looked away as my eyes met his.

"so you guys are half Werewolf, half Hunter. Right?" I asked.

"yes."

"but they have tattoos" I pointed to Yukwon. Gosh, I sounded like a ten year old with all these questions.

"yeah, they came from another clan and joined ours," Baekhyun said "Their old clan- to them it was a bad thing to be a hybrid so you got a tattoo to be recognized as one. "

"ok," I mumbled  "so how were you, you know, created? 'Cus a hunter would never have- Um yeah,..." I said awkwardly pressing my lips into a straight line and waving my hand around. They laughed.

"no. No no- we're Hunters who have got werewolf blood in their bodies, and didn't manage to get healed in time." Xiumin explained.

"and the ring on your finger," I nodded my head at it "that's not from any Hunters clan I've seen."

"no it's not, it's our  clan symbol." Xiumin said. I looked at him confused. What is going on?

"we created a new clan, so we needed a new symbol." He shrugged.

I leaned across Kris and grabbed his right hand, he froze at our closeness. Not noticing, I pulled his hand across him and to me, I examined his ring and it had the exact same pattern as Xiumin's, birds in flight. I held his hand in mine and rotated the ring around his finger, inspecting the pattern closely. Some one cleared their throat loudly, I looked up and than realized how close I actually was to Kris.
