Have you ever had the feeling that your stomach has literally dropped? That you've heard, seen or witnessed something and your heart felt like it stopped beating?
My wide eyes searched the forest surrounding me, the houses, the road I had just run down.
But there was no sight of the black haired boy. Unconsciously my hand flies up to my collarbones in a nervous habit I don't remember ever starting.
My heart was in my throat, beating so fast. My breathing had picked up as I snapped my head around, desperately looking for that one boy.
"Micah?"
I spun around at the sound of my name, but I was quickly disappointed that it was Daehyun. He easily read the panic in my eyes and walked over putting his hands on my shoulders when he got closer "Micah, what's wrong?" He asked
"I-" I kept on looking around "I can't find Kai"
Daehyun widened his eyes at me "are you serious?"
"would I lie about something like this!" I yelled and shook his hands off my shoulders.
"Micah, " Darren said in a quiet voice " you need to calm down"
"calm down?!" I hissed and spun around to face him "he's not here!"
"calm down," Darren said again as he stepped closer to me, "he's probably still in that place"
I wrapped my arms around my stomach, anger fading down, "you think so?" I asked quietly.
Darren smiled softly and tilted his head to the side, his brown eyes were gentle as he stared me. "yeah, I do"
I looked up at him and he sent me a smirk "shall we go get him?"
I raised my chin
"I think you know the answer to that"

My new motorbike, that I defiantly didn't steal, was only fifty metres down the road from the abandoned hotel. And that's were I was heading now.
When I arrived I ran into the forest off the side of the road. My motor bike lay on it's side under a stack of ferns, beside it was a back pack. I quickly grabbed the back pack and pulled out the Hunter gear from inside.
I pulled the pants on, still leaving on my dress, and took the dress off over my head, replacing it with a black singlet. I laced up the boots, slid a knife into each one and stood up, even though I was fully dressed I still felt naked.
"forgetting something?"
I turned around to see Daehyun holding up a set of throwing knifes.
I smiled "not anymore"
I walked up to him, even though it wasn't my bow, I was happy that I had a weapon. I stopped In front of him and reached for the knifes, but Daehyun pulled them back. I pulled my hand back and stared him, raising my eye brows.
He smirked at me "these are mine, this-" he pulled something out from behind his back "is yours"
I smiled widely and took the bow from his hand. The wood felt smooth against my palm as I wrapped my fingers around it, I examined the bow carefully, there were no scratches, no dints- it was in perfect condition.
"Jaehyo looked after it whilst you were gone" Daehyun said quietly. I looked up at him and smiled "remind me to thank him" I said
"here" Daehyun said as he passed me a quiver full of sharpened arrows, my smile grew as I took them from his grip.
"where's Darren, Youngjae and Jongup? " I asked as I slung the quiver over my shoulder so it sat comfortably on my back, before taking one arrow and loading it into my bow.
