I sat still, resting my head on my hand along side  Changmin as we stared at the blood splattered battle ground, I shivered and closed my eyes.

As if sensing my discomfort Changmin leaned into me and let out a sigh."would you look at that," he said, nudging me with his elbow "you would think that they would burn black or something"

I opened my eyes and looked forward at the orange flames of burning demons that reached for the sky, I let my lips twitch up at the ends at Changmin's attempt to cheer me up. At least he was trying.

I still could not believe I was alive. I had been impaled with a sword, meaning that I should have bled to death. But here I sat, alive, breathing and sitting beside someone who had wormed their way into my life.

"I still can't believe you're here" Changmin mumbled as though he had read my mind. He pulled his head away, and leant forward so he could look at me. His eyes flicked across every inch of my face before he smiled.
I could feet his body lean back against mine as he turned to look out at the field again.

"my heart actually stopped when Leeteuk said you were stabbed" he said.

I looked towards him, my eyes watching carefully as he blinked, his eyelashes brushing his cheeks. "how about you?" I asked "are you hurt at all"

I watched as his cheeks lifted as he smiled

"just a few scratches, nothing I can't handle"

"just a few scratches, nothing I can't handle"

"Changmin, have you had them checked?" I asked

"well no," he muttered, I opened mouth to scold him but he cut me off "hey hey, with you being brought back to life, and your boys around you at all times, plus having to clean up demon bodies I've barely had time to"

I sighed "you're getting them checked as soon as this is all cleaned up"

Changmin chuckled "ok" he said and leaned back against me.

In comfortable silence we looked out across the field, watching as Hunters carried away dead bodies, I narrowed my eyes as I saw a familiar figure walking away.
"Changmin?" I called and he looked up at me

"yes?"

"is Zelo here?" I asked

"yeah"

"I'll be right back" I said away from him, I heard him sigh in defeat as I jumped to my feet and ran away, towards the retreating figure.

"Zelo! Zelo!" I called, as I ran, slightly breathless. Zelo turned around at the sound of his name and smiled at me,
"yes, dead girl?"
"that's not funny" I said as I came to a stop in front of him.

"but you need to meet someone" I said and latched my hand securely around his wrist. He started to protest but I hauled him along anyway. I looked around for the particular boy with the brown hair.
