After landing on a new terrain called earth, John and you became closer, after not seeing each other for a long time.
He was starting to open up to you as he never did with anyone else.
You opened up to him as well, Every time he was near you, you felt a wash of relief and safety come over you. It was a nice feeling.
There was a safety concern going around after discovering other people on earth, 'grounders'. As far as anyone knew they were dangerous. This resulted in someone going missing.
"Alright we need to check out or other enemy and see what we're up against. We don't need anymore of our people to go missing. Let's get together a group to go out, the more the merrier, but we need strong too." Bellamy announced over a newly formed crowed.
A few men raised their hands in the back, signaling them as reinforcements.
"I'll go," the words came flowing out of your mouth.
John Murphy looked out of the corner of his eyes and glanced at you. He saw a brave soul. He and you just started a new unbreakable bond, neither of you wanted to lose.
It resulted in him not wanting to comprehend the words that came out of your mouth, as they would only result in hurting him later.
He just got you back, he didn't want to lose you again.
"I'll go," he mumbled. Bellamy glanced down, being the only one to hear him.
"Looks like we have our group, we'll head out at dawn," Bellamy announced, earning nods from the crowd.
