Newt and the other Gladers were relaxing in their room, WCKD supplies for them.
Y/n and Teresa were separated. Based from their genders.
The boys heard loud noises coming from outside their door. They were gathering their stuff, in need of a quick escape.
They assumed, strong willed guards were trying to get in.
Unexpectedly, the door opens. It reveals guards on the concrete. Y/n and Teresa standing above them. Specs of blood on each of their faces.
Newt along with the rest of the Gladers look over. Shock fills their faces as they stay silent.
Y/n and Newt catch each other's eyes. Newt stares into her eyes. His expression is filled with shock that his lover had killed multiple human beings.
At least it was for a good cause.
"Come on," Teresa starts.
"We have to get out of here, now." Y/n finishes.
