"Okay, let's start it over. Today is going be your first day alright? Forget about what happened yesterday." Wonu patted my shoulder to cheer me up.

"Hello, I am jeon Wonwoo. It would be easier to pronounce my name as Wonu" he introduces himself again to me and with a sincere smile this time. it's quite cute actually.

"My name is Kim taeha, you can call me anything but I prefer Tae" I pretend as I never talk to him before and introduced myself back to him while trying to hold my laugh. 

"I wanna call you mine then" he winked.

"I'm joking. Okay, since you're new to the school. I'll give you a tour around because we came too early today. If we bump into some weird girls, just ignore them. Okay, let's start"

I followed him around comfortably because he treated me so nice. I'm glad that I have him here, in my new school but, everyone was staring at me weirdly.

Is there something weird on me? I looked down at my clothes and I was just wearing a grey oversized top with jeans. Anything wrong? I thought.

Some girls started to whispering to each other but actually whispering out loud that I can listen that they are talking about me.

"ew is she new"

"how can Wonu oppa talk to her"

"she's not that pretty"

"is Wonu Oppa blind?"

All these words hit me until Wonwoo elbowed me oin the arm and said;

"These are the weird girls. Don't listen to them" 

 I was looking down the whole time until we reached a familiar place.

The rooftop.

"my favorite of all" he smiled.

"I think you wouldn't be amazed looking at the view because you already saw it yesterday I guess?" he said as he pulled my left hand to seat beside him on the ground.

"No, I'm really amazed right now. It's so beautiful up here. I was very upset yesterday that I didn't notice all this" I looked around, amazed with the view.

"Right. I like going here whenever I feel sad. You know, away from people"

"Can I ask you something?" this question has been stuck in my mind quite a while.

He nodded.

"Who are those girls that were staring and talking about us?" I faced him.

"Fangirls to be exact. They've been like that since the first day I came to this school. and.."

"I got myself a girlfriend and they keep bullying her and saying that she cheated on me. I was so annoyed with them but one day, the truth is revealed. She is really cheated on me and that was the first time I feel proud about having so many girls liking on me that they always concern about me" he continued.

"But yeah, I broke up with my girlfriend two years ago and here I am single as fuck" he shrugged with his heartless face.

"Wow, yeah can I be one of those girls? Let me guess, they like you because .. hm you are good looking?"

"Is there another reason? HAHA," he shrugged to look like he's proud of it.

"I'm sorry about yesterday in the class though. I was too shy to start a conversation with you. you look sad as duck" he pouted.

"Yea, there was a lot of thing in my mind that time. I just can't get rid of them" I gave him a warm smile.

"is it about the guy on your phone? Alright, what if you tell me and I will help you as best as I can" he offered help to me.

I told him everything about Mingyu to him. About how did I found out about Mingyu, about Vernon, everything related to that. 

and as expected, my eyes started to tear again.

"Okay, listened to this. The conclusion is, that Kim Mingyu guy is stupid as fuck. Keep that in your mind. That's all that I can say"

"No emotional moment here. Don't worry, I will always be there for you whenever you need me."

"I'll make a promise. Me, Jeon Wonwoo, starting from today will be your new best friend, or you want me to be your boyfriend? but this one is optional hehe" he made a joke to lighten the environment.

I laughed as I punched his shoulder playfully. Yah, this guy really makes me happy.

"Aight! I accept you as my best friend and I am glad to be yours as well but the second choice hm no way!" I rejected him with my non-stop laugh.

He pouted.

"Look at your hand watch! We missed our first class. Oh my god!" I shouted as we both quickly leave the rooftop and ran to the class.

Great. Wonu and I get scolded by the teacher and she detents us to clean the class until 5 pm.

but I am happy that I wasn't alone. I was kinda guilty because I am a new student but already skipping class on my second day but listening to him singing and giving lame jokes is somehow quite fun for me.

but some of Wonwoo's lame jokes is quite nice for example; "if you were a vegetable you'd be a cutecumber"

"It's getting dark here. Let me send you home. Faster"  he pulled my hand and we get into his car.

Taeha is sleeping on my shoulder. I guess, she is very tired cleaning the class just now. Poor her, she must be through a lot of a hard time because of that mingyu guy. I will do everything as long as she's happy.

After we reached in front of Taeha's home, I asked my driver to stop the car there. I didn't wake her up but ring her door instead. A few minutes later, her mother came out and I greeted her politely.

"Did anything happened to her again?" she looks very worried after seeing her only daughter sleeping in my car.

"no- she's alright. She just fell asleep. I just wanted to tell you that she came back from school late because of school matter. I hope you are not worried again" I explained to calm her down.

"Aigoo, you are such a nice guy. You helped Taeha yesterday and you send her home again today-" Mrs. Kim thanked me.

"No worries. She just accepted me as her best friend this morning and I promise that I will take care of her."

"Glad to hear that! Can you lift her to her room? I cannot afford to lift that elephant up. She's very heavy" she laughed teasing her daughter jokingly.

"no problem!" I replied and bring Taeha to her room. 

As soon as I put her on her bed. I looked around her room and I can't lie but her room is a mess. I feel her. This how my room looks like when I was depressing over Haneul. You just can't think straight and live your life in a mess.

Well, I guess I have a plan on what to do on my weekend tomorrow!
