"Stop that," I say, pushing his fork away.

He raises his eyebrows, "What kind of woman doesn't want to be fed?"

"We're full, from eating all your food." I giggle, rubbing my stomach.

"Well make room, I want you to taste this." He holds his fork up again.

I groan. "I can't–"

The cake looks absolutely disgusting on the outside, I don't see how it could possibly be appetizing.

"Just one small piece, I know you'll like it... how many times have I told you you shouldn't judge food by how they look?"

"I'm not," I lie, looking at it distastefully.

"Please? For me?" He frowns. "When do I ever make you taste something that you don't end up loving?"

I purse my lips, sighing in defeat and he smiles, "Open wide."

I open my mouth and he slips the piece of cake into my mouth. I pull back and began chewing as he sets down the fork. He watches me carefully.

I freeze for a moment. "There's chocolate in this." My face twists.

"You don't like it?"

"There's chocolate in it!" I repeat.

He chuckles, "But keep chewing."

I hesitantly do as he says and continue to chew the piece of cake. I slowly finish and then swallow.

He looks at me expectantly, "Well?"

"It's.. not bad," I shrug.

He rolls his eyes, "You loved it, didn't you?"

"No, it was horrible." I tell him and he tilts his head.

"Really?"

I nod and he hums. "Okay then."

He twists around in the seat and looks for the waiter, "Waiter, waiter.."

In that time that he's turned away, I quickly reach for the fork and cut off another piece, stuffing it in my mouth.

"On my way, sir." He makes his way toward the table and I eat as much as I can in that time.

When he reaches the table, Louis begins to twist back around so I quickly put the fork back. It makes a clinking sound and I curse.

Louis takes one look at me and his face stretches to show amusement. He doesn't say a word but instead reaches for a napkin. Clearing his throat, he speaks to the waiter as he dabs at the icing in the corner of my mouth, "Check please."

The waiter nods, "Right away." They leave.

"You have a funny way of showing your hatred."

"Oh, shutup," my mouth curves upwards, "Can I please just have another piece?" I plead and he smirks, slowly sliding over his plate.

I cheer and quickly take the fork from him, sliding off another piece and eating it. I hum in delight.

"Listen, I have something to tell you." He smiles, taking my right hand into both of his.

"Do I have to stop eating my cake for you to tell me?" I ask him and he smiles wider.

"No. But you're eating my cake pretty fast for someone who's supposed to be full." He says raising one eyebrow at me.
