A little while later they've washed up and are now lying on the floor of Ravens room. Ravens reading and Damian's finishing a report and there's a comfortable silence enveloping the room. Damian is the first to break it. "I was meaning to ask, when Nikita and Tye were here...." And Damian has to consciously force himself to not let his mind wander down that line of thought. "Why did you leave?" Raven pauses, her blue eyes flicking towards him before she sits up and closes her book, placing it on the ground next to her.
She sits with her legs crossed in her usual meditation position and Damian moves to mimic her pose. She looks and him, not exactly nervous but not NOT nervous either. She (obviously) has something to say but just doesn't know how to say it, so Damian waits patiently, like she does with him. "You know those sci fi movies where when you go back in the past you're not supposed to let your past self see you?" Damian nods. "Well, Tye and Nikita were from an alternate reality, but it seems that the concept of bonds exist on both our realities. So anyway, meeting your past self is the dangerous thing, but usually meeting an alternate version of yourself should be okay...I think. But I think the existence of bonds makes it NOT okay, so Tye's presence here affected all three of us through the links that we share." Honestly Raven knows that's not a very good answer, it's a fucking confusing answer. But she really wasn't sure how to tell Damian that Tye's presence had affected his alternate self, the Tye (or would be Tye) of this world, and that since would be Tye was still a defenseless little thing it had been a lot worse than it would have been had her worlds Tye been older. And that the strain on their worlds Tye had affected her and him through the paternal bond they shared with him- shit this was complicated.
Damian is still silent, still confused. He's trying to connect all the dots, and while it would be hard for a regular person it shouldn't really be hard for him, which means that he's in denial. (In other words; Data does not compute.)She finally she looks him in the eyes, a light pink dusting her cheeks and a gentle up turn to her lips. "I'm pregnant," He looks like a deer caught in head lights and she laughs, but the sound is cut off by the air being knocked out of her lungs, not by Damian tackling her to the floor or anything, but by the look in his eyes, full of awe and love as he gently brings his calloused hands to cradle her face.
It's silent, but they don't need words, of any form they might take, the love between them is enough for them to understand echo ther by the simple brush of skin against skin.
That's just the way it is for them..

.
TILL IT STARTS AGAIN.
THE END.
So i'm not really satisfied with the ending cuz it was really rushed. And I ship birdflash ALOT but I thought this suited this story more.
