you stood there trying to think about what to wear today, but for some reason it took you longer than usual. you repeatedly went through your drawers and closet finding something that you hope nobody would judge you for wearing. your conscience wouldn't shut up, all it kept saying was: 'if you wear that crop top everyone would think your a slut,' and, 'that sweater would make you look fat.'

somewhere in the back of your head you knew those comments weren't true, but your anxiety blocked those positive thoughts from your head.

"c'mon y/n, we're leaving to get breakfast now," you hear someone yell from downstairs. you sighed and quickly grabbed some leggings and a random t-shirt and threw it on. you still felt fat and disgusting for some odd reason, even though you have been comfortable with your body lately, you didn't know what was wrong with you today, something was off.

before exiting the room you grabbed your wallet and phone from the dresser and walked down the staircase. you were met with jack waiting for you at the door.

"did it really take you that long to find something to wear?" jack jokingly asked. as you found a pair of slip on vans and slid them on both of your feet.

you chuckled, "of course, girls are never quick at getting ready." which was true, you were never the one to be dressed in two minutes. even if it always ended up with you throwing on something random, it still would take you at the least thirty minutes to get dressed.

"i know, i know. i grew up with five girls in my family." jack states.

"really?" you questioned the curly-haired boy. you never realized he had so many girls in his family.

"yes, i'll tell you about them another time, but for now we should get some breakfast. IM HUNGRY!" he shouts, running towards the van full of guys. you laugh at jack and make your way towards the van. the you hop in the back and sat next to jonah, placing your head on his shoulder. he looked away from his phone and smiled at how adorable you are. that's when you started to overhear two boys fighting in the very front of the van.

"c'mon corbyn i have my permit, i swear i won't hit anyone!" you hear zach beg from the front passenger seat. he was begging with puppy eyes, facing corbyn.

"no zach! i don't feel like watching you drive and almost crashing the car like twenty times! remember what happened last time?" corbyn stated. which made you question, 'what exactly did zach do?' so you decided to find out.

"it was one time! it won't happen again i swear!!" zach whined. he pleaded corbyn, sticking out his lower lip.

"what exactly happened last time?" you interrupted, lifting your head up from jonah's shoulder. you forgot that zach was the youngest and he didn't get his license yet, but the fact that nobody lets him drive was quite humorous to you.

"last time we let him drive we went to the chipotle five minutes away from us and he nearly crashed into a pedestrian!" corbyn started, turning to face you.

"and this specific pedestrian started yelling at zach for not watching where he was going." daniel chimed in, shutting his phone off.

"the scolding lasted for several minutes and we were all really hangry before hand, so we haven't let zach drive ever since." jack stated, ending the story.

"how long ago was this?" you quizzed.

"maybe three months ago?" jonah questioned himself.

"well then let the boy try one more time. look, i just got my license back from the dmv a week ago. i can watch him." you supported zach.
