as they both step foot out of the slick black car, into the perfect, sunny, warm day in l.a. the sun makes y/n's skin glow, jonah noticed that about her. as for y/n, she appreciates jonah's blue eyes as they shine in the l.a. sunshine.

"what a beautiful day," y/n expresses with admiration to the sunny skies of california, while walking into 'THE GROVE' with jonah, on the wednesday afternoon. a smile is spread onto her face as her y/e/c glows. jonah sneakily grabs y/n's hand and they stroll down the stone paths lined with many department stores and outlets.

"i couldn't agree more," he grins at y/n, who is to busy to notice jonah starring at her because she is taking in the beauty of the grove. her eyes wander around as she spots a beautiful fountain. letting go of jonah's hand, she runs towards the vast fountain.

jonah slightly chuckles at her, but then chases after her as she sits on the bench right next to the fountain spewing out water. she smiles in awe, starring at the fountain as jonah passes her a coin. "make a wish," he whispers into her ear, sending chills down her spine as she accepts the shinny, copper penny and closes her eyes.

she makes the wish, thinking about jonah and how she wishes that jonah will forever be apart of her life, as he was her savoir, he lifted a huge burden off of her, exonerated her from the abuse of her ex-boyfriend. she was free and she just realized it.

she releases the penny into the fountain, opens her eyes, and watches the penny launch into the water and hit the concrete bottom of the fountain.

"what did you wish for?" jonah questions y/n. she looks up at his face and tells him, "now i can't say my wish, because then it won't come true." while a grin forms on her face from one ear to the other.

jonah nods in defeatment, appreciating her beauty inside and out, as she grabs his hand a drags him into 'FOREVER 21' because she knows the store is cheaper than the other stores and the clothes in there are nice.

so then the two start to shop. talking to each other while she grabs clothes from multiple racks, jonah adding some big comfy sweaters he thinks would look adorable on y/n.

while there was a big pile of clothes y/n grabbed, she knew she wasn't gonna buy all of them. she wanted to try them on, so while they waited in line for the dressing rooms, she decided to tell jonah something.

"hey jonah, can i tell you something?" she asks jonah, though already knowing the answer. a hopeful glimmer fills her eyes as she looks up to the tall boy.

"of course, you can tell me anything." acknowledging y/n with a big, goofy smile on his face. "well i just wanted to thank you for basically saving me a couple days ago, this is the best state of mind i've been in since the last couple of months and i just appreciate you and your bandmates so much for letting me stay with you guys and keeping me safe." she expresses to jonah with a thankful tone. she lets out a big breath that she didn't realize she was holding in.

"y/n i will do anything for you. you didn't deserve anything that jason did to you, he was a fool to hurt a beautiful soul like you." he admits to her which makes her blush.

they were called to try on clothes. jonah stayed outside of her dressing room as she went out to model all of the clothes for jonah. laughter filled up the dressing rooms and they were enjoying themselves.

after twenty minutes of trying on clothes, y/n decided what clothes she wanted to buy and what she didn't want. they then payed for the clothes and exited the store. for the rest of the afternoon they would go to various stores and shop until they drop. jonah requested to stop at starbucks after a few stores, because we all know he loves his coffee. for the rest of the day jonah spent a lot of his money on y/n, but he didn't care, as long as he kept y/n happy, he was happy.
