she came down the stairs with a black skater skirt, a cropped, maroon long sleeved top, and some black vans. she wanted to be cute and casual because she doesn't know what to expect, the whole date is a huge surprise that she wasn't so sure she was ready for. her stomach was filled with butterflies, more than usual. i mean, what's going to go wrong? they've been acting like a couple for what feels like forever. she smoothed out her skirt in nervousness as jonah looked at her in awe. she's never seen her all dressed up, he was stunned. she was scared of what he thought, but she tried to put on a smile to cover how anxious she really felt.

"wow, y/n you look beautiful," he complemented her as she blushed, looking down at the floor trying to hide it.

"t-thank you," she stuttered in nervousness, playing with the edge of her skirt. she looked up to him smiling. jonah's heart skipped a beat when he saw her smile.

"well shall we go now?" he asked her, putting out his hand for her to grab. she took his and and smiled even wider, signaling that she was ready. they both exited out the door without any of the guys realizing, daniel planned something to keep them distracted while they snuck out. jonah led y/n to the car and opened the passenger side door for her to enter, and closed it, quickly running to the other side of the car to get in and drive.

as jonah started the engine and pulled out of the driveway, y/n asked one question, "so, where are we going?" she smiled, hoping for a good response from jonah.

jonah smirked, still looking at the road, "we are going somewhere, that's for sure." y/n rolled her eyes, she put her elbow onto the car compartment next to her and put her chin in her hand, "are you really going to not tell me?"

"oh come on, surprises are fun. have a little fun y/n." he chucked as she sighed. she was too excited to not know, "could you give me a hint?" she pleaded, trying to make him give in. it didn't really work though.

"no! be patient!" jonah playfully scolded y/n, she sighed and stared out of the window, her eyes wandering around the beautiful city of los angles. daytime slowly falling into the night. the sky colors were a combination of orange and pink blended into a peaceful scene. as jonah's eyes are focused on the road, y/n's arm rested on the center console, her eyes focused on the road ahead of her. jonah slyly puts his arm right next to her's on the console and holds her hand. she blushes a little, still staring at the road. they drove in a comfortable silence. enjoying each other's presence.
