Kapitel Vierundzwanzig

Chapter 24...

Cami's POV...

I read what was written on one, 'Kazoku', meaning family, and the one on the left said, 'Eien ni', meaning forever.

My grip on Kelly loosened and she struggled free of my grasp, she shuffled backwards till her back hit the wall and held her hand to her neck to soothe the pain.

I stood up and turned around and saw her standing there, my sister. Wait. I'm I seeing things? Could this just be me in a trance again?

"Snap out of it Cami", Alli took one step forward. It sounds like her, my guard was still up, because anyone could be pulling tricks on me now.

"It's me", she took another steps down I took one back and she paused, "you may not trust anyone here, but you trust me, right?", she asked, tilting her head to the right.

I slowly nodded and she let out a sigh of relief. She still kept walking towards me and we kept I contact, I still had my rear guard up in case Kelly tried anything funny.

"I thought you were dead", I finally let something out. She frowned, clearly confused at my words, "What? W-Why would I be dead?", she looked at the others tied up for answers.

"It's Will", Jade spoke up, "he's taking advantage of her amnesia to turn her against us, he told her that we killed your whole family, even y-"

She was interrupted by an ear-splitting screech, all our heads snapped in the direction it came from. Then the door opened slowly and in came some of those weird doctors with one of those things on the bed they were pushing.

It was thrashing around trying to break free then they injected it with something and it passed out. They both walked out of the room not once stopping to look at us.

We all waited in the silence trying to figure out why that thing was brought in here. Alli was now at my side and Kelly was still behind me.

Then the sound of static filled the room followed by a familiar voice, "Hello Cami".

"What the fuck is this?", I ask angrily, looking up at him in the room above us.

"Calm down Cami", he chuckled, "this is just another test for you, you see, in a few minutes that Antercid", he pointed at the Antercid, "is going to wake up and attack any one of you".

"Why don't I just kill it?", I smirked.

"Because if you do, I will flood this place with more that will most certainly wipe you all out, that's a promise"

"So what the fuck do you want me to do then?", I asked getting annoyed at the limited options.

"You'll simply have to let it kill one of them, or let it kill none of them", I could see the smirk on his face. I narrowed my eyes trying to figure out what he was up to.

"If it kills one of them, the rest can live", he smiled boyishly, also a fake one, "if it kills none of them under  5 minutes", he chuckles, "well... I'll flood this place with more of it", he paused, "that's also a promise".

"Why would you save me just to kill me?", I ask trying to understand his sick motives.

"I saved you to protect you, but you've proved yourself useless to my goals because of the soft spot you now have for people that are not even your family", he spat out the last word.

"If I have a soft spot for them, why are they still tied up?"

"I don't know Cami... Why are they?", he chuckled again, "remember my rules love", then he disconnected himself. I kept my eyes on him and he kept the smirk on his face.

The female standing next to him was staring at me, well I'm pretty sure she's staring at me through those goggles, SWAT mask and helmet.

I held her gaze and everything else disappeared around me. We were like that for I don't know how long, but she decided to take off the goggles and the helmet.

She looked familiar and I narrowed my eyes to get a good look at the part of her I've been graced to see. Then she pulled down the mask.

So before I say anything, I'm going to apologize for ghosting out on you guys. I had exams and I had to drop everything to study for it. So I'm really sorry.

*Long audible exhale*

Not much action, but at least she's reunited with Allison. What decision do you think Cami's going to make?
