Antercid

Kapitel Fünfundzwanzig

Chapter 25...

"Hitting me is not gonna get you killed but it's gonna get you really hurt", I dropped her hand and she came up close starring at me, obviously trying to intimidate me and it sure as hell wasn't working, "Don't for a second think I'm afraid of you Camilla", she stepped back and stormed towards the doorway, when she got to the door frame she turned around to look at me, "oh and I change my mind", she trailed off and her face hardened, "fuck the situation we're in".

I came out of the flashback and kept staring at her. Wills working for her? Or is she working for him? Whatever's happening I can't let my guard down. From everything I've learnt so far, this guys are my true friends. I darted my gaze towards Will and for the slightest moment, I saw what I think is fear dancing in his eyes.

The Antercid woke up and ran for us. I looked up at the big digital clock that was already counting down on the wall right under the room Will was. I have five minutes to keep my friends alive and think of a way to get out of here. It ran straight for Kaden and he was struggling to let himself loose. I pulled Allison's Sai's out of the wall and threw them at Kaden.

He screamed a bit, then the first one hit the rope tying his left hand and the second one hit the other rope. He jumped out of the way and the Antercid hit the metal bed. It pushed itself off of it and turned to me and screeched.

It ran towards me and I stumbled back a bit, I can't remember experiencing one of these running at me, I caught my balance and braced myself, it reached its claws out and I unsheathed my sword and swiped its hands clean, then I ducked and it tumbled over my body. It's hands were still moving on the floor but they were very insignificant now.

It screeched again at me, this time a more pissed off screech. I looked at the time, two minutes had gone by. I ran towards Jade and freed her, then the both of us jumped out of the way, the sound of decayed flesh and bones hitting metal gave me a feeling of nausea.

It turned to Robyn and I was too far away to save him without killing the Antercid. I threw one of my pocket knives at its head and it went limp after impact and fell on Robyn. He yelled in disgust and shook his body violently but the dead undead creature (I wander what people call that, I mean does the dead cancel out the dead, or what?) but it wasn't budging. I looked at the clock and the numbers had frozen, now glowing red.

I ran to Robyn and freed him, "oh thanks", he was now panting hard. I looked up at Will and he leaned in on his microphone and said, "You've failed to follow my rules, now you'll pay for it". He pushed a button and the alarms blared, numerous Antercids came running in like a tsunami, tripping over themselves, even stampeding themselves. I gave one of my swords to Jade and we stood in front of everyone ready to fight to the death.

"Get Kelly and Alli out of here", I told both Robyn and Kaden. Robyn took Alli and Kaden carried a weak Kelly bridal style and they ran for the window.

I turned back to face the enemy and I heard glass shatter, they had already jumped out, the first one got close and I swung my left arm that I held my sword in at it, splitting it in half, then I ducked an attack from the next one, and stabbed another in middle of its eyes. I spun around with my sword doing as much damage as I possibly can, then I jumped in the air and landed on ones shoulders.

I drove my sword into its head and pulled it back out, I followed it to the ground and rolled, I stood up and stabbed one here, and slashed one there, and split another there again. They kept coming at us and we kept defending ourselves, I decapitated, I stabbed, I stabbed again, I cut in half, until they were too much, we managed to escape through the already broken glass and they followed us, we ran as fast as we could and they were gaining on us.
