Kapitel Einundzwanzig

Chapter 21...

"Inside this room is an Antercid, it's not going to attack us cuz the immunity dose is still in our system"

I raise an eyebrow, "immunity dose?"

"It's this drug that our top scientist created, it makes us kinda unwanted, so Antercids aren't interested in attacking us, only lasts 12 hours tho", he explained.

"Well", I sigh, "let's do this".

He signals to one of his people, "don't worry we got you", he put his hand on my shoulders.

I nodded as they open the steel door, I walk in along with Will and some of the other soldiers, the room smelled really bad, of gore and rotten flesh, also blood. I saw someone in the shadows, but I couldn't make out the persons body features. The persons body was really dark, then it groaned, definitely an it.

Its started shuffling in my general direction, "what the fuck is that?", I yell, and as if on cue, it shrieks, a very loud, unexpected one.

It jumps at me but it was shot down immediately, my heart was in my mouth already, I was almost hyperventilating. I was panting real hard, like I could've almost shat myself.

"Now you know what an Antercid is, you take this ones down really easily, if what you did the day they evaded our camp was a movie, it would definitely be a box office hit", he paused and looked at me, "you do know what box office is right?".

I laugh wryly, "Ha ha".

"Now where can I find the people that killed my dad and sister", I said as we walked out of the room that stank of rotten flesh and blood.

"Lucky you", he smirked, "we caught them".

My expression went blank, "where are they?"

"We'll bring them to you and also a few accessories I'm sure you've missed", he smiled warmly.

"Okay", I dead panned.

Will and I waited in a really large gym for the people that killed my dad and sisters, I can't even imagine what I'm going to do to them, should I make it quick, should I make them suffer, I would've asked Will how they did it, but he said he wasn't there.

I've thought about him taking advantage of my memory loss and lying to me for his own sick benefit, but so far, he seems like a really nice person that wants to help me, but I'm not supposed to trust anyone, that's what my mom and dad taught me, no one should be trusted except family.

I never 100% trusted Julian and Tess, but they were getting pretty close.

A bright light, a hospital bed, a syringe, my mom in my hands, blood everywhere. The thought came and went just like that. I shake the thoughts out of my head, I have to focus.

Then the doors to the gym opened and in came three hospital beds, with one person strapped in each one.

"Cami?", the boy with the lighter hair said, I looked up at him, I remember him, he's the guy that tried to get with me in college, that was before my mom died.

"Cami don't believe whatever he tells you", the African American girl said, she looked my age, they all looked my age.

I just watched as they moved the beds then rotated them vertically so they where now at around a 45 degree angle. Then the three people that brought them in walked out without a word.
