Liza's P.O.V.
I pull up to my gate and sit down, immediately, two girls walk up to me.
"Umm... you're Liza Koshy, right?" One of them asks.
"Yea, I'm the little brown girl." I reply, politely, trying to hide my sadness. It's been half an hour, and I'm already missing David.
"Can we please have a picture?" The other asks.
"Of course, what's your names?"
"I'm Maddie, and this is my younger sister, Catie."
"Pretty names." I say, putting on a fake smile for the camera.
"Liza, I hope you don't mind me asking, but are you ok? You seem off. I've only ever seen you online, so I don't know if this is how you are off camera." Catie asks politely.
"Oh, I'm fine, just missing David." I admit, not wanting to lie to these sweet girls.
"Aww, goals." Maddie says, "Whoops, I didn't mean to say that out loud. By the way, love Gabbie's song, and congrats on two years. It was nice meeting you Liza, bye!"
"Yea, congrats, bye Liza, tell David and the gang that we said 'hi'!" They both walk away, and for the first time in forever, I realize I didn't get anxiety around my fans, they were both so understanding and kept their distance. I slowly start to realize, that they must've known about my anxiety.
After sitting with my thoughts for a couple of minutes, I hear my group being called for boarding. I decided to fly economy home, because I don't like to be the center of attention, that's hard not to be when literally everyone on the plane will walk by since you boarded first. I walk through the walkway, and step on the plane. I walk through first class, knowing that if David would've come with me, he would've made me sit in first class with him. I think he's more addicted to first class than he is to me. Ouch, that hurt. Better not be the truth.
I walk through the rows trying to find mine, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36. Ah ha, found it. I put my bag in the over head bin after grabbing my headphones and laptop from it. I sit down, deciding to do some editing. As the flight fills up, I'm glad to see that no one has moved into my row, I never get a row to myself.
Time lapse to Houston (I'm tired and lazy AF)
I walk out of the airport and order an Uber. It says their five minutes out. I pull my luggage over to a bench and check my phone for updates. I have a text from David. Hey Pookie, just checking in on ya, hope your flight went well. Tell your sister and parents I said "hi".
I reply typing: Hey, flight went well. I'll tell everyone you said "hi" , and I ran into two girls at LAX, they said "hi", as well. Talk to you tonight, miss you. I press send as the Uber pulls up.
"Uber for Miss... Koshy?! No way!" My Uber yells. He jumps out of the car, and opens his trunk. "I didn't even realize it was you, until now. I'm a huge fan of your videos."
"Hey, thanks. That means a lot." I say, throwing my bag into the trunk, and hoping in before my Uber takes off.
Time lapse to her parents house
I walk up to the door after taking a picture with my Uber driver, whose name was Kevin. I ring the doorbell and wait no less than ten seconds before Olivia, my older sister opens the door. She smothers me and I can't breathe. "Livie! Can't... breathe!" I manage to say.
"Whoops, sorry! I'm just so excited to see you!" She says, releasing me from her grip.
"I just saw you like two months ago!"
"Two months too long, come on, let's go see everyone." Olivia allows me to walk in, where I see my mom and my dad sitting at the kitchen table.
"Hey mom! Hey dad! I'm home!" I yell, getting their attention.
"Elizabeth! Welcome home, sweetie." My dad says, embracing me in a hug.
"Welcome home, Liza." My mom tells me, hugging me, as well.
"I'm going to go put my stuff in my room, I'll be right back." I tell them, heading up the stairs. I walk into my room, it's still the same, nothing ever changes in my room, unless I physically do something to it. I start unpacking when my mom walks in.
"Liza? Can I talk to you real quick?" She asks, I stop unpacking and say yes. "Ok, so you and David. Do you guys... use protection?"
"Eww, mom!" I say, clearly disgusted. "No, because we don't do it."
"Oh, well that's good to know, dinner will be ready in one hour." I hated lying to my mom, but it's not something that I like talking about, since it is David and I's private thing.
Timelaspe to later that night (Again, sorry. But I'm lazy)
"Baby, I miss you already." I tell David, after he picks up facetime.
"I know, but you'll be here on the 28th, that's only five more days." He tells, me reassuringly. "Toby, Ester and Sara want to say 'hi'." He turns the camera to say them and they all wave. "Ok, now get out of my room."
"David!" I scold him over the line, "be nice to your siblings!"
"Sorry, I just want to talk to you alone."
"Same. You go first though."
"Ok, funny story, my mom walks in while I'm unpacking and asks me if we use protection. I told her no, hope that's ok with you."
"Haha, funny story, my mom asked the same question, I told her no as well."
"Looks like were on the same page, goodnight Pookie."
"Goodnight Dabid. Talk to you soon." I say, hanging up the phone call, and cuddling with Pookie.
