Christmas special pt.2

"Crap, crap, crapcrapcrapcrap!" Lucas said, pacing along the walls of the corridor.

"What is it?" Hayley asked.

"The... the guy... he said Gene was out for me!"

"Jesus Christ, you're acting like this hasn't happened before." Clary Said, annoyed.

"It wasn't good last time." Julian said. Clary was silent.

"Fuck, why did it have to be when I got back?" Lucas cursed.

"Well, she picked a damn good time." Chris said. "We'll keep you covered."

"Thanks."

Just then, a locker being hit sounded through the corridor around the corner behind them.

Lucas looked at his friends with wide eyes. He spun on his heel and silently walked to the corner. Everyone followed.

Their heads peeked past the wall to see Gene and a muscled dude.

"Man, that guy is ripped!" Chris exclaimed silently.

"Shhhh." Clary shushed.

"Why can't we take him now? He's vulnerable!" The guy said.

"We can't, it will attract too much attention. It'll get us in more trouble." Gene mentioned.

"What the hell? We can't just wait for later when we can ju-"

"You will follow what I say or you're going to regret it." Gene said.

The man was silent.

"I- I'm sorry Gene."

"You better be. Make sure you get him this time." Gene said, and proceeded to walk away.

The group left the corner.

"Oh, fuck. We never going past that guy!" Chris exclaimed.

"So we won't. Lucas, you have to stay with your class." Clary Said.

"Yeah, yeah okay." Lucas said. "What if I have to go to the bathroom?

"Hold it Lucas!" The girls said.

"Hey guys. What's this about?" A teacher said.

"Oh, hi Ms. Olsen." Lucas said, turning to face her. "We're just talking about the Christmas party."

"Oh okay." Ms. Olsen said. "Did Lucas facilitate again?"

"Yeah, a bit Ma'am." Lucas answered.

"It's good for you to be back." She smiles sweetly, and walks away.

"Too popular for my taste." Julian said sarcastically.

"Hey, who's been checking the lists the last 4 years?" Lucas said. He sighed, but it came out unexpectedly shaky.

"What's wrong?" Clary asked.

"It's... that guy... I know him from Gene's gang."

"Where?"

"We were childhood friends as well, me and Lila were his classmates in prep and grade 2. He was a bully back then, but we weren't his victims."

"O...kay." Hayley said.

"Do you think you did anything wrong to him?" She added.

"Well, I found his MLP collection. He didn't want anyone to find out, and, well, we never talked. Especially when I transferred schools."

"An MLP collection? What a pussy." Chris said.

"That pussy is super ripped." Clary said, using Chris' words.
