The room went silent except for one, who walked over to and stood beside the bed. Y/N quickly recognized the color of his pants as the guy they called 'Jin.' Must be the leader or something, but would a leader let one of his captives run past him? Maybe the group wasn't as good as she thought... She even had enough time in the kitchen to cook a giant pot of soup and she would have been able to get out unsuspected if she wasn't so absorbed in the luxury of eating.
..worth it.
"Sorry to interrupt your precious beauty sleep," Jin said, mild venom dripping from his tone of voice, "but the girl we captured yesterday, escaped and now she's roaming the house. We saw her run this way."
It sounded like Jin was holding himself back when he was talking, the pause he made implied there was something else he wanted to say, but he decided against it. She'd be angry too if one of her members yelled at her, but If there was a dangerous gang leader running throughout the house, she knew she'd have to save her tirade for later.
The likely younger man audibly gulped at Jin's statement and looked at the two other boys, still silent and unmoving.
"Aren't you two going to go look for her?! She could be anywhere! GO!" The man on the bed shouted frustrated, sighing as they scampered out like frightened puppies.
The man moved and sat on the edge of the bed, his feet now touching the floor. Since he wasn't planning on going back to sleep anytime soon, he talked to Jin.
"..Sorry, I didn't know you were with them." He apologized, voice still slightly groggy. He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.
"It's fine, don't do it again though. About that girl though... Her name was Y/N I think."
She internally scoffed.
You are, or were, holding me hostage.
The least you can do is remember my name.
"What about her?"
"I haven't looked at the room she was in or had V and Hoseok tell me, but she managed to escape into the air vents without making a peep. The laser didn't move until I found her eating duk kalguksu at the table, that's when they ran in to find me."
"Didn't you just start making it around ten minutes ago?"
"She finished cooking it and served herself, acted like she owned the place until she looked up and saw me. Unbelievable." Jin grumbled the last bit.
There was loud shouting and harsh footsteps echoing about outside of the room they were in. To Y/N, it almost seemed like the two boys from earlier somehow turned to four, but it was hard to think much of it since her arms had started to wobble.
The man thought.
"I guess Namjoon was right. He said it was just a guess before we even planned to visit their house, but the possibility is so much higher now. I wouldn't have thought that the leader of such a powerful group was just some teenage girl." He scoffed in disbelief.
