~ two years later, on an uncharted planet ~

Rey spun her sparring stick and held it back up to Ben with a grin. She let loose a yell and ran towards Ben, weapon raised. Slamming it down onto Ben's stick, he grunted and spun out of her way. As he spun, Rey kept going and hit her foot against Ben's, tumbling to the ground with a cry. The wooden stick flew out of her hands and landed in the grass with a thud.

"Rey! Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry..." Ben frantically apologized.

Rey scrambled up to her feet and spied Ben, who was leaning down to her, eyes wide. The ball of fury yelled and lunged at Ben, slamming into him and throwing him to the ground. Ben held onto her as she tried to pull away, smirking. Grunting, he rolled her over on the grass several times until he landed steadily on top of her. He held her wrists down, which were raised next to her head on both sides in attack. They were both panting as Rey glared into Ben's dark eyes, his hair tumbling down above her. She gave him a crazy smile.

"Always a wild one," Ben laughed.
He bent down and planted a kiss on her lips. Rey craned her neck up to kiss him back. She let her head fall back down, blushing and smirking.

He leaned back off of her and stood up, extending a hand to her. She reached up and took it, using his strength to help her up. He led her towards the rocky cliff, overlooking rolling green fields and a distant mountain range. The orange light of the sunset flooded the green landscape with a warm glow. They stood together, fingers entwined, admiring the scene. Suddenly a girl's voice rang.

"Mommy?"

"Coming, sweetie!" Rey shouted back towards the direction of the voice: a building to the left composed of stone bricks, whose windows shone with a soft blue light.

Rey looked up at Ben to find him beaming down at her, his soft brown eyes gleaming. She leaned her head against his shoulder and wrapped her arm around him, still holding his left hand with her right. He rested his head on top of hers and ran his fingers through her hair.

The two lovers gazed off into the sun, admiring the view. As night fell, the stars that emerged were as numerous as the possibilities of their new life together, and the sky was as endless as their hope for the future.
