Chapter 9

Laurence's POV:
I was doing my patrol around the gates when I heard someone in the forest. I walked to investigate when I saw lady Aphmau appear from behind the tree. "Lady Aphmau I thought you were preparing to set sale for Enki Village, why are you in the forest?"
"Oh! I happened to spot something shiny and wanted to take a look at it in the end I got lost." She said. her voice was a bit higher then normal.
"Are you Ok?" I asked as I walked toward her.
"Ya just can you come over here for a second I have something to show you." She said with a smile.
"Ok What is it that y-" I was cut of by her lips pressing against mine. And I for some reason kissed back. God, tell me how to say no to this! What am I doing. I thought as i stepped back. I looked at her in disgust and heard something snap in the blushed as a (f/c) and (2/f/c) wolf rand from the bushes deep into the forest. I looked back at were Aphmau would be standing and in her place I saw an Imp. I felt my rage as I cut the damn thing in half and it disintegrated. I then looked around to see where the wolf could have gone but it was to late she was far from sight. As I started to walk away I heard singing from the forest. I followed the voice and hid as I saw.. (Y/n)? She had (f/c) dragon wings and (f/c) wolf ears and tail. I then saw as animals and fairies surrounded her and the tree started to grow. I couldn't believe what was going on. I then saw people from other villages surround the tree. As she soon finished I saw two guards appear from the crowd.

"Princess (Y/n) of emis. You father has sent us to bring him your presence regarding your betrayal." 'Princess!?'
"Tell that old man that if he wants to see me he could come over here as I am not leaving." I saw her eyes start to glow.
"It was not a request."
"Then I would like to see you Burn." She said as (f/c) flames circled around her hands and then caged the guards. As the flaming bars drew closer to them. "Let this be a warning to any Man who steps foot near my sacred tree." As the guards were itinerated by the flames and were turned into no more than ash. At this point I ran back to Phoenix Drop worried of what might come. Right as I made it I saw Garroth talking to a Wyvern. Garroth looked at me.
"Laur-enzo I need to speak with you." He said with a worried look.
"Garroth what is wrong." He pulled me into the guard tower and locked all doors and windows.
"Laurence I don't know what you did but you messed up."
"I don't understand."
"There is some crazy lady who put a bounty on your head!"
"What do you mean?"
"You are wanted dead or alive! She says that the person who brings you to the center of the forest near the grand oak tree will gain riches beyond imagination's reach!"
"How could she have found out... More like why is she doing this." I said.
"What?" Garroth looked at me straight in the eyes and I explained everything that happened in the forest.
"Welp your screwed... good luck." Garroth said patting me on the shoulder.
"Garroth!!"
"You messed up and I'm not getting myself killed because of your own stupidity! You saw what she did to me in my Jury form! Your my friend but in times like this your on your own. Besides I have to leave tomorrow to enki island, so either way you would still be going alone."
"Some friend you are."
"Look what if you hide go under a different name till she forgets?"
"I cant do that! Someone will eventually rat me out!"
"Welp then there is nothing I can do." Garroth said as I walked outside.

I ran to her old house and noticed her safe was opened and everything was missing except her (f/c) cape. I picked it up and it instantly changed into a forest green color and I slipped it on and put on the hood. 'Not to shabby' I said admiring myself in the mirror. I need to get some rest I'll need it. I said as I walked to her old room and fell asleep.

Laurence POV:
I woke up and ran towards the woods. I saw the giant tree come into view. When I got to the tree i found the secret door and climbed my way up to the top.
"You said you were looking for Laurence Zavl." I said looking at my surroundings. "Well here I am.. show your self."
