Chapter 22

Y/N's POV:
"We are going to meet your.... grandfather..."

"We are going to meet Grandpa!!!" Eliza yelled..
"You must be Princess (Y/n)'s Children.. and you must be her husband..." the Butler said looking at Laurence.
"Wha...." Laurence started
"Please make your way to the carriage.. We have little time to waist.."
"Why after all these years my father wants me to go back?!"
"Your Father is very Ill and we don't expect him to live longer than a year... you being the heir to the thrown must take your duties as Queen."
"He's Ill...?"
"He has a non infectious disease that was caused along time ago and there is no cure." Then he looked at me. "You three go inside, Princess I will need to talk to you." I nodded and looked at them and they walked inside the carriage.
"You need to change him... for the good of our people.."
"I know... I'm not ready yet.."
"I understand.. but he is no immortal... and a shadow knight it is only a matter of time before the dark lord will cut his rope.. he will die too unless you do so.."
"I..I understand.. just give me some time.."
"And your children?"
"They are both immortal, only one is a first class Emthian the other is a werewolf.."
"Good.." the man said as he then opened the door and I sat next to Laurence not saying a word..
"Mommy?"
"Yes Eliza?" I said looking at her.
"What is grandpa like?"
"Well when I was your age he was very... controlling... he might have changed though.."
"So.. your a princess?" She then said.
"Yes, and soon you shall be too." I had a week smile.
"REALLY!!" She said and Ben was still a bit scared, Laurence looked at me with wide eyes... I squeezed his hand slightly, my eyes were full of guilt.. he did know I was a princess.. he didn't know I was first in line to the throne. After a bit the carriage pulled to a stop near a dock with a ship with guards piled on it.
"Right this way." The Butler said as we walked onto the massive ship. Eliza was walking around while sweet little Ben was getting sea sick.. I stood bye him to comfort him. "There there don't worry... it will only take 3 hours till we get there since the boat is fueled by magic.." I said.
"3 HOURS!!" He cried.
Laurence looked at me and shook his head and I just shrugged. After about three hours we finally docked at Emis. And Ben just ran off onto land and fell down and looked like he was hugging the ground. Eliza just ran after him giggling. Laurence and I followed and we were led to another carriage that led us to the castle.
"Wow..." Ben said looking outside the window.
"It's so pretty!!" Eliza chimed in. I just smiled weakly and nodded. Laurence held my hand as I looked at the place that I once called home. When we were at the castle we were escorted to our rooms. Eliza and Ben shared a room with two queen beds and Laurence and I shared a room with a King sized bed with the view of the pools and gardens. We got changed into formal royal attire. After a while a knight walked up to our rooms and escorted us into my fathers bed chamber. My fathers (f/s/c) was now almost pale, his eyes were starting to dull and his hair was turning white.
"Y/n..." he smiled. "Is that you..." I sat beside him and held his hand.. I didn't realize the tears that were rolling down my face.
"Look at you.. you have grown so much.." I smiled.. as much as I hated what he has done to me in my past, he is still my father and I love him.. "So that's the man.. come here my boy.." Laurence walked next to me and placed a hand on my shoulder he sat beside me and my father looked at him and had a weak smile.
"You seem like strong young man, with a kind heart. No wonder my daughter wanted to run away." He laughed and coughed so I helped him sit up and handed him a glass of tea which he drank and then handed it back to me where I placed it back on the table. "But There is one thing that I don't see." He looked at him. "Which I will talk to you, young man, about later..." then he smiled over at the children. "Ahh.. so you two are the adventurous youngsters. Please sit next to me it's been so long since I have seen children run through these halls." As then the kids walked up to his right hand side and sat down and Eliza sat next to him.
"Here! It's my teddy, Mister. James Hogglesworth Theodia the 3rd, it makes me feel better. So I wanted to give it to you to make you feel better!" Eliza smiled and gave him the teddy along and The children both gave him a hug.
"That's very sweet of you." He smiled. "Young man may I please speak with you." He asked Laurence who nodded. "Why don't you all go look around the castle while we discuss something." I nodded.
"We shall take our leave father." I said with a bow as we walked outside the room.

Laurence's POV:
"You have requested my presence alone sir." I said looking at him questionably.
"Yes There is one important thing that we need to discuss.." he gave me a stern Look Which then turned into a smile. "When are you planning to propose!?"
"Um.. well.."
"You do know you have to be legally married to get the title of king right..?"
"Yes, honestly it's going two fast.."
"Going too fast? You have been with my daughter for the past What 8 years?"
"Yes But she was dead for five of them since she died during birth but.."
"I see... when did she come back?"
"Last week sir.."
"Oh, forget the formalities call me (F/n)"
"Ok (F/n). I am still waiting for the perfect moment though.. and I don't have any ideas..."
"Well my daughter loved the beach.. when she was younger all she would talk about was making sandcastles, and taking a stroll and finding shells." He took a moment to think. "She also was infatuated with fireworks..."
"Hmm.."
"I have a question.."
"Yes?"
"Are your children from hav-"
"Nope! It was a birth pendant.."
"Oh I see.. that also explains something."
"What? If I may ask."
"You have not been transformed yet.."
"What?"
"If you are a mortal you have to become immortal through the transformation process.. which happens through, or during intercorse.. while doing the 'act' an immortal leaves there mark on the mortal." At this point my face was 50 shades of red.  "Which would lead to pain for about 5 days then the transformation would be completed and if, when.. as it's only a matter of time before.." he mumbled the last part.
"What!?"
"If you do the act with her you will be a second class Emthian as you are a werewolf?"
"Yes.."
"Understood.. so it's your choice but it's better to do both before the coronation starts as it would be better for the people." At this my face turned 5 shades redder if that was even possible. "That is all.." he said as I got up.
"I shall take my leave." I said as I bowed and walked to find (Y/n)..
