Chapter 16

(Y/n)'s POV
I have been ridding in horseback for the past two days and I'm still 2 more days away from the mountains. The longer I make him wait the more inpatient He becomes. I stop for 3 hour each day to eat and to let the horse rest. I'm slowly nearing bright port and past that is the mountain range. Yes it would have been quicker to travel by water but it would make me easily spotted which prolongs the journey. Also it's easier to travel up the mountain on horseback then by foot, and if I tried to transform into a dragon the people would notice and would try to kill me. I came to a stop at a small hill at the base of the mountain then I started up camp for the night and transformed out of my shadow knight form and fell asleep.

~Time skip~
I woke up and adjusted my mask gave the horse something to drink and eat and then we started climbing the mountain. At the midpoint I saw a cave and walked inside where Wyverns laid they saw me apron he and stood up.
"Human What are you doing in our den."
"I am no human.." I said revealing my ears, tail, and wings.
"My apologies, Emthian princess. Where are you heading?"
"I need to make it to the top of the mountain by dawn from their I must go to Phoenix Drop."
"That is a long hike on horseback."
"Yes But it keeps me under a low profile."
"The shadow lord still holds you near I see.."
"Yes, once I fulfill his request I will be set free.. but I will still have my shadow form. It was his first promise to me."

I closed my eyes and was transformed into a juvenile dragon and flew hidden by the trees of the forest straight for Phoenix Drop. As the ground started to shake and a beacon was now lit on the mountain. 'Three days..' I reached the gates by sunrise on the second day. I transformed into my shadow form and there a man held his sword and charged at me having me to deflect his every move.
"You shouldn't be waisting your breath.. the true fight lies 2 days ahead of us.. Dante.." I said as I put my sword away and he stared at me.
"How do you know my name?"
"It's not important we need to get all the lords of the land and their people to the Phoenix alliance island."
"How do you know-"
"Just listen to me! Shad is coming in les than two days time take the children to the Phoenix alliance island I will go to O'khais, and Scaleswind. I need someone to go to brightport and New Meteli, do you under stand!"
"Yes But Who are you?" The blue haired male said.
"An old friend, who wants to keep her friends and family safe." I said as I ran off into the forest.

I made it to o'kais and warned Katlyn of the news she is evacuating the city at once now I need to find Nicole. I flew as fast as the wind as I heard the earth shake as the sun started to set. As I made it to Scaleswind and turned into my shadow knight Emthian form and flew toward Nicole. I explained to her the situation and she Gould the guards to rally up the towns foak and get all the horse drawn carriages no one was to take anything but food. 'One day left' I flew back making sure that the people made it through the portal to the island. I saw my kids walking with their friends worried, you have no idea how much I just wanted to hug them and tell them everything will be alright. My eyes widened as I sun start to set.

"Everyone Through The portal we only have 14 hours left!!" I said as the people of Brightport and Scaleswind finally showed up. I helped escort the elderly toward the portal. Some other gaurds helped the women and children, while the lords kept the people from panicking. As the last group finally made it through the portal I saw a man look at me his eyes were sky blue his hair was brown. "Good bye.." I said as I took of my mask revealing my face and pushed him into the portal and broke it. Once the day is over I will restore this place till then I must make sure He doesn't get anywhere close to here. Then at the light of dawn drums were heard throughout the rurun and bells ranged.. "It has begun.." I said as I flew up into the sky and transformed myself into the elder dragon. And I was set free..
