Chapter 18

I laid down on the bed starring at the ceiling. My wolf ears and tail were now visible and they would would twitch. My ears pressed against my head as I heard the subtle cream of the door as it slowly opened. I sat up and looked towards the door.
"Long time no see..."
"Laurence..."

Y/N's POV:
I look at the man who i once knew.. he hadn't changed a bit in appearance.. Without a second thought I ran over to him and hugged him...
"I've missed you so much... you have no idea what has happened to me over the corse of 5 years... I thought of you guys the whole time... and yet.."
"I'm sorry who are you...?"
"You don't remember me..." my heart sunk... as I let go of him.
"I'm sorry, I honestly wanted to thank you.. for saving us and for giving my kids a present on their birthday.."
"Oh... um Ok..." I breathed in and out my heart felt like it was just torn... "if you don't mind I need to get some fresh air..." the man I once knew nodded as I walked past him. I threw on a shirt to cover the bandages and walked outside.. Some people looked at me and it gave me a weird feeling.. I walked into a meadow not to far from the village and sat down. There I saw Mr. Ro'mave sitting by the tree.
"Garroth, son of Garte and Zianna.." he looked at me and his eyes widened.
"Y/n! It's been so long! Have you spoken to Laurence?"
"Yes and he doesn't remember a thing hence why I'm here.."
"Oh I'm sorry.."
"It's fine, it just hurts... also I spoke with Raven he wanted me to tell you he said hello and that he is doing well."
"You saw Raven! That's amazing where is he."
"For now I'm not sure I haven't gone back.."
"Oh.. I need to go I will try talking to Laurence and talk some sense into him!"
"Thanks Garroth." I smiled as he patted me on the shoulder then left for the village. I sat on my the tree just thinking of ways to get him to remember me.. I closed my eyes and turned into a wolf and ran over to the town I ran to where the kids were and sat looking at them. Then all the sudden Eliza turned into a wolf pup and ran over to me and Ben then did the same.
"Hi!" He barked.
"Hello sweethearts! How was your birthday?" I replied.
"It was fun! I wonder how long we have to stay here though!" Eliza jumped up.
"I'm sorry probably for a bit then I will fly back and make sure everything is ok!"
"Wait so Your also a dragon person!?" Ben asked.
"Yep! It's called an Emthian! I am from emis a Princess actually but I ran away because I was forced to marry someone I didn't love.."
"Oh so did you find love?" Eliza asked sitting down.
"Yes.. I did and we had two lovely children but then I had to go."
"Why?" Ben asked looking at me.
"I died technically.. but I was turned into a shadow knight and was forced to do horrible things or else the rest of my family and friends would be killed."
"That's sad... Can I show you something?" Ben asked with big eyes.
"Sure!" Eliza and I followed the pup. He led us to a small cave not to far from the village.
"Watch this!" He said then he turned himself into a Green and (F/c) dragon small newborn dragon. "Now you try!!" I nodded and closed my eyes and I turned into a (F/C) dragon juvenile dragon so I wouldn't be that much bigger then him. "You are the dragon! Can you teach me how to use the fire!? Dad said mom used to know how to manipulate fire!"
"Ok.. But Eliza you will need to stand back for this one, and we will need to turn into our Emthian forms, Ok?" They both nodded. Then Ben and I turned into our Emthian Form while Eliza turned into here werewolf form and stayed about 20 feet away from us. "Ok let's start with a fire spark shall we?"
"Ok" he nodded.
"Look at your hands, imagine that they are glowing your favorite color... focus on the glow.. imagine something that makes you happy or sad."
"Ok!"
"Now think of fire.. think of the overwhelming heat, the sparks that fill the air and the ashes from the burning wood below close your eyes. Imagine the sparks of flame surrounding you like a tornado.." I opened my eyes to see if he was doing it. I saw small sparks surrounding the young boy. "Good now focus on the sparks then open your eyes." Then suddenly the sparks around him grew in both size and number and he opened his eyes.
"I'm doing it!! Now how do I make it stop?!"
"Close your eyes think of something that can put out the flames..."
"Water?"
"Perfect. Now think about the calming movements of waves." The sparks around him started vanishing till they were gone. "Open your eyes, tell me what do you see?"
"I see nothing! It worked! Thanks Ma'am." He said which made my heart sink a bit again but then I remembered that he doesn't remember me either.
"No problem now let's get back your father must be getting worried.." I put on a fake smile and walked them back.
