Chapter 21

I woke up looked next to me to see a sleeping Laurence. I carefully got out of bed and got changed into my old guard outfit that fit me like a glove. I walked downstairs and began to make breakfast. The kids walked downstairs and sat at the bar counter as I handed them the plate of waffles and strawberry sauce.
"Thank you mama!"
"Your welcome my little sweethearts." I smiled as a shaggy haired Laurence walked downstairs. I planted a kiss on his cheek. "Sleep well?" He smiled and nodded still feeling tired.
"What's with the outfit?" He smirked.
"Oh this old thing. Well I decided to go back to working at the guard tower for the early morning shift for two days a week, while the kids go to school, From 8-12" I smiled. " it will make life a bit easier with the extra money... especially since Sean found out and he might tell his father of my whereabouts...."
"I thought Sean and you are on good terms?"
"We are But he is the son of the Senator.. and the Senator gets what he wants.."
"Hmm.. well what ever happens we will be here for you.. I will be here for you." He said and I smile and give him a hug and kiss him on the cheek.
"All right kids let's take you to aunt Zoey's training school!" They slowly get up and go hug their father and they walk with me to Zoey's place. Zoey had recently made a little training grounds to practice sword fighting, trading, speech, and magic that she called a school of arts. There was 8 kids who took these classes per session of 4 months. I brought them to Zoey's where she took them inside and I waved as I ran off to the gaurd tower. I technically am still a guard for Phoenix Drop since I didn't resign my position..  walked inside got my assignments from Garroth and walked off to my post. I was to go to Phoenix Drop and help rebuild, I guess it was fair since I was the one who technically led to the destruction of the ru'run since I did let out shad...
"I shall be back in 6 hours."
"SIX HOURS IT WOULD TAKE WEEKS TO REBUILD PHOENIX DROP!?"
"I know.... but I have a recovery spell... that I use... a lot.." I said remembering when I was little and I would run around and bump into things and then they would break.. good times... I walked outside ran into the forest and transformed into the elder dragon so it would only take 5 minuets to get to Phoenix Drop.
I looked down with sorrowful eyes as I looked at the destruction. 'I caused this....' I thought as I then fell onto the ground and said the ancient runes.

"apa wis rampung .. saiki ora sah .. bali tanah iki kanggo aku ngerti. ora ana maneh banjir peteng ... nggawa iki menyang cahya.."
I looked around as I saw the land slowly rebuild itself to what it was. sure it would take three hours to restore half of the island but this spell did not fail to impress. I sat on my now finished sacred tree and waited as I watched the magic sweep through the once broken trees making them awhile in a matter of 30 seconds. I felt myself get weaker as I felt my magic energy getting drained from my body.as the hours past i watched as the last bits of the rurun were COMPLEATE dont and the portal was restored. transformed into my werewolf form and walked through the now lit portal onto the island where I collapsed upon the ground and people surrounded me.
"it.. has been done.. you are free to go back.." I said in a somewhat whisper as I felt my eyelids grow heave yet as the people surrounded me.

I woke up in my old house in the bed. the kids were asleep next to me and Laurence was sitting on the chair.
"That was beyond stupid.." I then cut him off.
"I had to do it..the people, I saw them, they looked like they could start a war amongst themselves at any moment. Besides if anything it would only drain me and knock me out for a couple of days. It wasn't enough to kill.."
"Just listen to me! Thank you." He huffed. "Look around you! You have a family, friends! You just came back and your willing to do something so reckless!! I don't want to lose you again! We need you... I need you..! If I have to take you off the guards I will! I will not have you do something that will risk your life!! I have already lost you once I will not lose you again! Do you understand.."
"I understand... but.. I can't follow.. your people.. our kids... they need me... I cannot stay here while your people fight.. I will not allow harm to come to you or our children... that's why I stayed in that damn hell hole for so long.. I love you but in times like this... I cannot do what you say.." I looked down...
"Then... so be it.." he clenched his fists... and he stormed out of the room. And the kids slowly woke up..
"Mommy... *yawn* What was that.."
"Don't worry sweethearts." I said kissing their heads. "Just go back to sleep.. mommy has to do something." I said slowly getting a change of casual cloths and changed in the bathroom.
I walked downstairs and started cleaning the house trying to get everything off my mind.. I then heard a knock at the door.. and I saw a carriage at the front of the house with my family crest.
"Princess (Y/n) you and your family must come back to Emis.. your father and the lord of Phoenix Drop have made a deal and the coronation is in 3 weeks.. due tell me, who is your husband.." the man who I presumed was my fathers new butler said. Then Laurence ran over..
"What's going on!" He said in a state of shock.
"Get the kids...." I said with a cold tone. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Why now?
"Mommy! What's wrong.."
"We are going to meet your... grandfather.."
