Chapter 20

"Thank you so much Kawaii Chan and Dante for babysitting the kids." I said as I hugged KC.
"Oh, it's no problem (Y/n)~sama! Now go You two have a date!" She said as Laurence and I held hands and walked into the forest. When we were far enough from the village I nodded and transformed into my wolf form, and soon he did too. "Awww... your Paws-atively Adorable!" I said as I walked up to him. His ears was pressed against his head and he looked down in embarrassment. "So.. what do you want to do?"
"Can we go to the place where the old fairy village was?"
"Sure But i dont know if we will see them they are wanderers." I said and he nodded and I raced off to the spot and we walked down to where the fairy village once was, but yet even with them still gone the place was full of wonders. I walked over to the small pool of water and just sat.
"Remember when we first came here.."
"And you pushed me in the water?"
"Heh... ya so what happened exactly."
"After I died I went to the neather, out of choice so I would be able to see you all, but being an Emthian I became Shads right hand warrior next to Gene. I mainly went on assassination missions for rouge shadow souls, or knights but I made a deal with shad that no harm should ever come to you.. Since you are also like now me considered a rouge... Other than that he sent me off to survey the whereabouts of irean, Aphmau and bring back information on their daughter. I was also used to train new shadow knights and to show them how to use curtain relics, if they were to find one." I took a breath and sat down. "Other than that I was an executioner. Any shadow knight who tried to kill, or sabotage Shad, or his plans I would hunt him down and in the morn before training I would bring the man or woman to the center where I would behead the person and warned everyone that if they disobeyed and tried anything their fate would be the same. In the neather I am very well respected, I am the only one other than Irean herself, when she is at full power, who can defeat him. Everyone either is scared of me, or try the best to get on my good side. It's nice in a way, the respect, but when you are a.. monster.. in the eyes of men, you tend to reflect and have guilt for what you have done..." I looked down at my paws. "I would spend nights in my room just crying... because I was plagued with dreams of what I had done.. even now the memories still hurt."
"Hmmm... I understand."
"And you.. What have you done for the past 5 years."
"Well I took care of the kids, along with some help every now and then. We had a small war against Tu'la, but we made a treaty and the whole ordeal was settled. The war lasted about a year and the kids were sent to the phoenix alliance island. The rest of us had to stay and fight where sadly a good friend of ours, Leochant was severely injured and died three days later because of the wounds. Then when everything started to get better Michi started coming back and would use potions to bring chaos. We caught her and she served 3 years and was just let out of jail recently. I don't understand why she was let out so soon.. Now she keeps bugging me."
"Oh... so she is the bitchy Mifwa who came last night.."
"Yep that's one way to put it. She is a psycho, who has some huge crush on me... I wish I could just cut her head off, but then what kind of example would I be for the kids?"
"Mhmm... Did you tell the kids..?" I asked looking at his ears.
"No! Knowing Benjamin he would tell everyone within the course of a week!" He said and I started laughing. "What it's true."
"I know... it's just funny!"
"What is funny.."
"Nothing..." I said and looked behind him at the two playful pups who just pounced on him. "Eliza? Ben?i thought you were at KC's?"
"We were.... But we got them to play hide and seek so we ran off to find you! HEY DAD!" Eliza said as she looked down at the male wolf...
"Welp... this just had to happen right now..." Laurence said as I got the kids to get off of him. "Thanks."
"Hehe... your welcome!"
"Now that you kids know you must promise to not tell anyone... that means you Benjamin.... if you do there will be no sweets for a year!"
"That's a little harsh.." I said laughing..
"Ok 3 months."
"Better." I laughed and the two pups started running around.
"Ok let's go back KC must be freaking out..." Laurence said as we walked out of the cave and transformed into our human forms and walked back to see KC run up to them.
"THANK IREAN!!" She yelled.. "You two know better than to Run off like that!"
"We're sorry Miss. Chan." Benjamin said.
"We really are we just missed Mom and dad." Eliza chimed in.
"It's ok! Kawaii~Chan was just worried!"
"Well Thank you so much again and I'm sorry for the trouble the kids put you through." I said looking at the kids.
"OH don't worry (y/n)~sama, Kawaii~chan should be saying sorry!! OH MY Kawaii~Chan forgot she left the cookies in the oven! Bye!!"
"Bye." I waved and smiled and we walked back.

We got to the house and the kids automatically went to bed and fell asleep. I walked to the room where I saw Laurence in his boxers and a t-shirt sitting on the edge of the bed. I walked next to him and kissed him on the cheek. I walked into the bathroom and put on a (f/c) short nightgown that I had bought earlier in the morning before the date. My ears and tail popped out and I sat next to my love and rested my head on his shoulder.  We sat there in silence just savoring the peace and quiet with one another then we both got in bed and we fell asleep.
