The bright morning sun shone down onto the streets below. I clenched my teeth in annoyance as I followed Burr down and up the streets. Over and over again the election was tied between Jefferson and Burr. Over and over again the two men worked furiously trying to break the tie in the Electoral Collage.
"Come on Ezio, there's no time to loose." Burr called ahead as he had a charming smile on his face.
I gave a sharp breath as I shifted the weight of the fliers, weaving between the crowds of people as they too were eager to see the final results.
I pressed onward, handing out campaigning flies to people I passed, forcing a smile as I handed out the papers.
I didn't not agree with Burr's campaigning tactic. As I said over and over again that his strategy made him  seem to desperate and unprofessional as I said he was "giving away his own votes".
But being determined to win the election, Burr glossed over my advice and kept pursuing.
I stopped on my heels as a crowd was gathered on the other side of the street on the steps of City Hall. I looked curiously at the man who was in front of the crowd.
"What's going on here?" Burr murmured as I followed him towards the crowd.
As we got closer the man appeared to be Alexander Hamilton, his talk was weak but still confident as he addressed  the crowd in front of him.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I know you have all wondered about my voice in the Election." Hamilton spoke his eyes scanning the crowd.
I looked up at Burr who looked at Hamilton with bated breaths.

"As for that I am here to announce that my vote goes to Thomas Jefferson!" Hamilton exclaimed, a very determined look on his face.

"After years I've worked between Jefferson and Burr. But there's a great contrast between the two men, Jefferson's beliefs he can stand from...Burr has none."

My jaw dropped as I looked dumbfounded up at Hamilton. What? Has Hamilton gone mad to pick his swore enemy for president?
I looked hesitantly up at Burr as his smile dropped into disbelief. He looked stone faced at Hamilton who stepped down from the crowd. I suddenly felt a sinking feeling, a feeling of dread that Hamilton made the wrong decision....
"Burr?" I asked meekly as he turned his back to the crowd and stormed away.

After months of quarreling between Jefferson and Burr. Jefferson finally broke the tie as he became the 3rd president of the United States. Burr followed as Vice President under a unfriendly wing. As the year of 1801 slowly came to an end, so did Burr and Hamilton's relations with each other.
Burr's attitude towards Hamilton snapped, soon Burr became blind towards friendliness to his enemy, Alexander Hamilton.
Months passed after Philip's death. Still the thought haunted me as it sadden me of his absence every time I walked down the street. Alexander and Eliza's relationship grew back together as they realized they needed to get through the loss together.
I would often visit them in their new residence in upper Manhattan and became better acquainted with the Hamilton children.
I found importance to comfort and support the distraught Angelica Hamilton, who after her brothers death became mentally, which was hard for the recovering family.
I kept a caring eye on the Hamilton family, despite my suffering.
Sadly my reputation at City Hall became a hellish nightmare under Jefferson's presidency.
