The ceiling intended to replicate the weather started to shake. Everyone looked up in confusion soon replaced with fear. "Students! It seems we have a troll in the castle. If prefects could lead their houses in an orderly and quietly manner back to their dormitories, there will be no need for panicking" said Professor Dumbledore. Everyone started to freak out but by the sound of thunder and strike of lightning,  everyone became silent and were starting to walk in groups out of the Great Hall.

"Where's Pansy and Hermione?" asked Dudley. Harry and Draco started to share the same thought. "Do you think they ran into the troll?" asked Harry. Draco didn't respond because he didn't want to believe that happened. When they were walking with the other Slytherins, though, they heard a noise from the girls bathroom down another hall. Then the floor shook a bit and they were convinced that the troll was there and the girls were trapped.

"Should we go and check?" asked Harry. "Well I certainly would not want to ignore it and found out it was them and that they died. Yes, we should go" said Draco. Dudley stayed quiet because he had absolutely no idea what they might do. "Troll. T-troll in the-" screamed the D.A.D.A. professor, Professor Quirrell before he crashed into a wall and became unconscious. The back of his head hit a torch on the wall and was on fire.

"Aguamenti!" shouted Draco with his wand out. Water spilled from the tip and put out the fire. Harry and Dudley looked at him surprised and confused. "I saw it in one of Hermione's books" explained Draco. The boys returned to the more important thing in their minds. "Run lightly just in case it could hear us" said Harry. The boys ran quickly and quietly down the hall while all the rest of the Slytherins continued to the dungeons, oblivious to them.

Once they arrived outside the bathroom, Draco went in first. They couldn't miss the troll that was right there. Hermione and Pansy, as they could see, were hiding in the stalls. Before they could do anything, the troll swung its club at stalls, knocking the doors all down in pieces. The troll spotted the girls underneath the mass of broken wood pieces. "Girls, run!" shouted Harry. Draco ran towards the troll and stood out of it's view and on the side of it. He got his wand in his right hand before starting to swish it and flick it.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" he shouted at the troll. The club came out of his hand as he was about to hit the sinks, where the girls were hiding underneath. The troll's weapon raised in the air, making the dangerous creature look up at it. Then it fell from the air and hit the monster in it's face, knocking it unconscious. It wobbled backwards, then forwards, backwards, and then finally fell forwards.

As if in slow motion, Harry ran towards the girls and managed to get  in front of Pansy to protect her. Draco ran in front of them all and pointed his wand at the troll once more with another advanced spell he had seen from one of Hermione's books. "Protego Maxima!" he shouted loudly. At the same time, Dudley was looking at the door beginning to open. Professor Snape, Professor McGonnagal, and Professor Dumbledore all came in with worry and shock on their faces.

"Oh goodness! What happened here?" asked Professor McGonnagal. Harry got the girls out from under the sinks and got up quickly away from the troll's body, which was levitating partially from the ground by the shield charm Draco still had up. He hurried away from it before putting his wand down as the troll landed and broke the sinks underneath it. "We heard the troll and the girls so we came and they saved them before they got hurt. I was way too scared though" said Dudley.

The Headmaster seemed to be hiding a smile at  their accomplishment. "Well I never- how did- how exactly did you manage to defeat a troll?" asked Professor McGonnagal. "With some spells I've seen from one of Hermione's books" said Draco. "I see" said the Transfiguration professor. "And who, may I ask, defeated this troll?" asked Professor Snape, hiding his joy that his students had managed to take on a full grown mountain troll. "That would be Draco" said Harry looking at his best friend.
