It sure was the best morning he's ever had. A kiss on his lips from the most beautiful girl in existence.

"There's no classes today" was his first words of the day.

It made her frown and he laughed before giving her a kiss, causing her to smile.

"Yeah, well we still have a child to take care of" she reminded.

His eyes widened before he sat up in bed, looked at his arms and at Hermione, tilting her chin around.

"What are you doing?"

"What year is it? I thought is was 1996. Are we still in our fifth year of Hogwarts?"

"Yes, calm down. What else would you think?"

"You said we had a child. Are we married or not?"

Hermione burst into laughter as well as a new voice. A younger, male voice. That's when he remembered. Young Voldemort.

"Sorry, I guess I must've ate too many chocolate frogs last night" Draco said nervously, hoping Hermione would forget everything.

"I'd say your an absolutely horrible liar" noted the small child behind him.

"What? N-no, I'm not lying. Why would I be? It's not like-"

"He's right, you are a horrible liar" agreed Hermione with a laugh.

"Oh come on!"

He sat down on his bed in frustration, staring towards the boy, his back to Hermione.

His arms crossed in front of his chest, and he had a pout. He was being childish, unlike the actual child in the room.

"It's okay if you like me, Draco"

"Well I don't like you either- wait what? Really?"

"You seem obsessed with her. There was a kid who acted somewhat like you right now. He really liked this girl but because she was also in the orphanage, it was awkward. And then she got adopted, so he was upset" said Tom, expressionless the whole time.

"I am not obsessed with her!"

"I heard you talking in your sleep saying her name a lot. Followed by I love you's, kiss me's, and take off your clo-"

Both of the teenagers blushed. Draco had no recognition of such a dream, but knew it must've been in his mind at the time.

"Okay, we get it. Can you stop ruining my life already?"

The young boy instantly was scared, as he had a faint memory from the adoption center he would usually be in.

"You see what you did? You are ruining my life! You're such a twerp. No one even wants to adopt you. If you weren't in everyone's way maybe then you'd be liked. But no, you'd still be a freak" an older boy had said. The teenager he had been with was angry to the point of punching something. It just so happened he had chose the boy in front of him. He did it another time, and another. It went on for a bit. Until finally accidental magic had kicked in and the older boy flew off and got stuck in a tree next to them.

In their current situation, Draco looked confused to the small boy cowering back, tripping, and putting his hands up in defense.

Hermione, however, realized exactly what the matter was and rushed to the boy's side, trying to make him feel safe.

"What's going on? Why is he afraid of me?" The blond had only taken a step closer to them, but it made the kid scream and shake in fear.

"Draco, don't come closer" instructed Hermione. "Why not?" "Just trust me, I know what I'm doing. You have to go back out, to the common room. Until I calm him down you have to stay there" she told him.
