After the first date with Jackson, days became weeks and weeks became months, before I knew it, I was nearly finished my first year of college.
Which means around 10 months with Jackson.
It also means I've nearly finished my time with Jinyoung as a roommate.
Thank God.
"So, things with Jackson are looking good?" Shownu asked me as I watched him play Mario Kart on his Wii.
"Better than ever, actually. Jinyoung accepts us, and in all honesty I think I'm in love."
"Aww Mark is in love," He teased, placing first in the race he was in.
"Be quiet, you're just jealous."
"Actually, I get confessions all the time, I just turn them all down."
"Why?!"
"No reason," Hyunwoo grunted, starting another race. He's obviously finished with the topic.
"I'm just so excited to finally be moving out of that stupid dorm," I sighed into Shownu's shoulder.
"You know you don't actually move out," he replied.
"What?"
"You would move out if one of you were leaving, but because neither of you are leaving and its College policy, I'm afraid you're stuck with him."
"I officially give up," I groaned, resting my head on his shoulder.
"Hey, it might be fun."
"You're only saying that because you don't have a roommate."
"You're right."
"I hate you Hyunwoo."
"I love you."
"I'm going to see Jackson now."
"Have fun with that."
"I will," I smiled, jumping from the couch and collecting my belongings. "I shall see you later."
"You too, son."
"Bye," I sang, closing the door and heading straight to my boyfriend's dorm.Life can't get much better than this.
---------
"Mark, what are you doing here?" Jackson asked, letting me inside the door once he got approval from Eric.
"I thought I'd come to see my boyfriend and his friend."
"How thoughtful," Jackson cooed, patting my head as I dropped myself onto his mattress.
"Anything for my baby."
"Get out of here before I throw up," Eric grumbled from his bed.
"Eric is just jealous of our healthy relationship," Jackson told me, and Eric rolled his eyes.
"I hate couples that show public affection."
"Technically this isn't public," I retorted.
"You two need to leave," Eric mumbled and buried his face into his pillow.
"Fine, we will, we will leave to go on a date," Jackson smirked as Eric groaned again. He grabbed my hand, hoisted me up, and we were off.
Out to go on an iconic Mc'Donalds lunch date.
--------
"How are we going to spend our one year anniversary?" I asked Jackson, who was happily eating his chicken nuggets.
"I think we should go back to Korea."
"Really?!"
"I think it would be nice, go back spend the day there. You can catch up with BTS and I'll hit up GOT7."
"You think that's a good idea?"
"I think it's a great idea."
"I don't think I'll be able to pay-"
"I'll pay for it."
"Jackson-"
"I said I'll pay for it, Mark. I've got the money. I've been doing really well in class so my parents offered. I miss them, too, so it's not like the whole trip is just for our one year."
"Are you sure?!" I asked him, my appetite completely out the window.
"I'm sure, Mark. I am more than sure."And then I said something I never thought I would say in my life.
"Why don't you invite Jinyoung along?" I asked, shocking myself more than him.
"I thought you hated him?" Jackson questioned, dropping his nugget in shock.
"I do it's just- he's super lonely. He misses GOT7 and now that you spend all your time with me, he's really feeling it. Hyungwon still won't let him live after the incident with Minhyuk."
"You've got a point... as long as he doesn't get in the way of our one year, I'll ask him."
"Don't you miss him?"
"I haven't really been thinking about him lately, I've been focussing on you... maybe I should do something with him this weekend."
"I don't want you dropping him just because you have me, Jackson. I hate people who drop their friends as soon as their in a relationship. I don't want to cause unnecessary drama between you."
"And you won't, I'll spend more time with him, don't worry," Jackson reassured me.
"Thank you."
"You really care about him, don't you?"
"No, I'm just a decent human being," I answered honestly.
