"Come back here!" Jackson yelled at me, as I ran across the house with his phone, taking endless selfies.
"Sorry! No can do!" I giggled, a couch in between him and I.

Jackson paused for a moment, and his eyes lingered around the room.

What is he thinking?

It was when his eyes stopped, I knew exactly what he was thinking.

His eyes were on my phone.

The phone that I left on the living room table.

The table that was in front of the couch I was behind.

"Jackson n-!"

But it was too late.

He snatched my phone and sprinted out the front door, my phone in his grasp.

"Jackson! I'm sorry! Come back!" I screeched, running out after him.

The grass was warm and soft.
The sun was in the middle of the sky.
The street lights were useless.
All I could hear was Jackson's high-pitched laugh.

"I surrender!" I laughed in defeat, as Jackson started to climb the dangerously old tree.
"I'll never forgive you!" Jackson joked, reaching for a dodgy looking branch.
"Jackson be careful!" I worried, forgetting about my phone.

I just want him to be safe.

"I know what I'm doing, okay? I'm a professional."
"If you don't come back down here right now I'm going to give Jinyoung your nudes."
"You wouldn't."
"Oh, I would."

Jackson was down faster than lightning.

He believed me.

"Fine. Whatever," he scoffed, still clutching my phone in his hand. "We'll do a swap."
"No funny business."
"Agreed."

We swapped phones without trouble, but when I looked at my phone something was different.

My wallpaper.

"Jackson why do you do this?" I laughed, referring to the extremely derpy photo on my background.
"Because I love you."

Little did he know.

"Mark!" He gasped, looking at his own wallpaper. "Why is Barack Obama my wallpaper?!"
"Because I love Obama."
"Me too, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to change it back to you."
"You're no fun."
"I'm funner than you," Jackson defended himself as we both walked back into the house.
"Doubt it."

-----

"I just don't know why you would say something like that," I sighed in frustration, sitting on Jackson and I's shared bed.
"I didn't say it, Jinyoung can read me like a book."
"Well Jinyoung isn't the problem here."
"What? So I'm the problem?" Jackson scoffed from a chair across the room and I nodded. "Mark you're overreacting."
"Overreacting? Are you kidding me? You're the one who brought it up-"
"Why shouldn't I bring up how we got together?"
"Because I told you that in secret!"
"I didn't say anything about it Mark, Jinyoung figured it out!"
"What? He knew that I dated you for revenge?"
"He must have!"
"I just think it's funny how he knew right after I told you."
"Mark-"
"No, I've had enough," I hissed, standing from my position on the bed and storming out of the room.
"Mark, come back."
"Leave me alone!" I cried, storming outside and into the front yard.
