Nagising ako sa ingay kaya nakapikit pa ako habang kinakapa yung side table sa higaan at sinubukan kong patayin ang alarm pero paulit-ulit lang ang *ping* nito. Napilitan akong magmulat ng mga mata at laking gulat ko ng makita ko ang notifications ko. Gosh! Muntik ng sumabog ang cellphone ko and then realization hits me.

Last night, bago ako nakatulog sa opisina nagdecide na akong i-activate ang social media accounts ko. Accounts na alam ng lahat. Hindi naman talaga ako nawala ng tuluyan sa social media I created personal account and made it private. I did not let anyone knows about it. I am using it for checking my friends' accounts everytime I had chance without them knowing.
That's how I found out that Edward will attend the reunion. I saw a viral photo of him and Heaven in the airport. They looked happy together. Kaya hindi na ako nagulat ng makita ko na sila ang magka-date. If I will be honest with myself, hindi ko alam kung nasaktan o nalungkot ako. Pero I am fine I know. Just like that I am fine. Kung ano man ang nakaraan matagal ko ng natanggap yun.

Before I scan my old accounts I check my private one. I saw dm from my soul sister. She already knew that I and Edward saw each other at last night's event and she is asking for details. I missed her so much. So I decided to reply to her message and asked that we skype.

While we are talking she received a call and she mouthed "It's Edward". She just answered it with annoyance and told him she will call back.

When she ended the call I saw sadness in her eyes. "Soul sister, what is the problem? Care to share?" Tanong ko sakanya.

She gave me a deep sigh before saying "We argued last night about you. He found out that I still have communication with you, even if it is not as often. I know it is not his intention to blame me but I was hurt on how he talked to me."

I was shocked, never ko kasi sila nakitang nagtalo. Tampuhan at asarang magkapatid lang, oo. But this one looks like a little bit deeper.

"I would be honest, May. Since the day that he renewed his contract with other loveteam there have been invisible wall between us."

Ngayon niya napatunayan na tama ang desisyon niya na huwag sabihin ang buong kwento ng pag-alis niya. Kung iyon pa lamang nagkaroon na ng hindi pagkakaunawaan ang magkapatid paano pa kapag nalaman nito ang iba pang dahilan.

Nang pinilit siya nitong magkwento noong una silang magkita pinili lamang niya ang sasabihin dito dahil gaya nga ng na sa isip niya noon maaring magkaroon ng negatibong epekto iyon sa magkapatid. Sinabi lamang niya rito tungkol sa gusto ng ama niya.

Alam ko kung gaano kasaya si Laura na ako at si Edward ang magkaloveteam. Dahil hindi pa daw niya nakita ng ganoon kasaya ang kapatid niya. And she saw the best of Edward every time they are together. Ayaw niyang i-claim ang credit na yun dahil sadyang may talent naman talaga ito.

"Laura, I'm sorry." Dahil sa mga nalaman hindi niya maiwasang ma-guilty.

"No need to say sorry I understand. At alam ko rin na hindi lang talaga ang Daddy mo ang rason. Alam ko may iba ka pang dahilan pero hindi kita pipilitin sabihin. But I am sure biggest part of your decision was my brother."

"Laura, matagal na ang mga nangyari. Kaya sana maging maayos na kayo ni Edward. I can't imagine na two years na kayong ganyan." Makikita sa mga mata niya ang lungkot sa mga nalaman.

"Don't worry, Soul Sister. I mean it when I told him I will call him later. I just wanted to catch up with you first." At nakita na niya ang mga ngiti nito. Kaya napangiti na rin siya.

"But before I forgot, so what is the real score between you and that Tanner guy? Wala na ba talagang pag-asa ang baby brother ko?" She said it with puppy eyes.

"Can I squeeze you, sistah? You are so cuuuttteee ^_^ . What do you mean with Tanner?" Pinilit ko rin iwasan ang huling tanong niya.

"I guess you haven't seen his post. Wait." She sent me screen capture of Tanner's post.

Oh crap! That was me last night noong bagong dating at tulog ako sa opisina.
"He was your date, huh? Wala kang nababanggit tungkol sakanya. Magtatampo na ba ako?"

"Tanner and I are just friends. Since the day we had photoshoot we had constant communication. That's all." Maikling paliwanag niya.

"I won't buy that. I can sense he is into you. Wala na bang pag-asa ang baby brother ko?"

Sasagutin na sana niya si Laura ng biglang tumunog ang cellphone niya, "Save by the bell" ang naisaisip niya.
She excused herself kay Laura pero hindi siya umalis sa harap ng laptop.
"Hello, Tanner." Tinitignan niya si Laura habang nakikipagusap sa cellphone. "Yes? Oh yeah, I almost forgot. No need to fetch me, I can go by taxi. Okay fine, I will not argue with you. Get my car then fetch me. Just make sure you are free and not cancelling any appointment."

"Okay, okay, I will wait you here. Hmmmmm by the way you owe me one. Tsk" Then she smirk.

"Ehermmm, ehermm, so my soul sister have date."

"It is not what you think, Sistah. We are just friends. Sorry to cut this but I have to go I almost forgot that I have appointment."

Before I ended the call I told her that I will visit her very soon.
