Chapter 32

Harry's POV

I'd be fooling myself if I'd say I didn't feel something in the pit of my stomach! The moment she said 'I do Harry' I had the biggest smile on my face.

On the darkest days like these, all you need is a ray of hope. And her words were the hope that I needed to keep all these emotions alive. Even if there were 0.001% of Rose liking me, I'd put all the efforts I can just for that bleak percent.

I had been feeling so empty and hollow on the inside for the past 02 days but as soon as I heard her words, it felt like an adrenaline rush ran through me and rejuvenated me on the inside. That hope felt like a blessing to me, it gave me all the motivation I needed to keep things going.

I felt like I got a purpose I need to fulfill and work my heart out for it and put everything it requires and demands.

Suddenly both of our phones beeped. It was a text from Louis on our group.

"Hey guys, my parents are out of town for the next 03 days. Which means.. It's Paaarrttyyy Timeeee. See you guys at 07."

I looked up to see Rose's reaction to it and I felt like she would refuse to come.

"You'll come with me?" I asked.

"I don't know Harry. Things have been so complicated lately. I'm not on the best frame of mind." She replied.

"Give me an opportunity to cheer you up? I promise to clean this mess I've created. Please come with me?" I requested her.

"Okay Harry, I'll come with you." She agreed.

Candice's POV

I agreed to go with Harry because I felt I've hurt him a lot already, and he doesn't deserve any bit of it. And if me going to Louis' place with him makes him feel a little better, why shouldn't I go?

It was already 04:45pm and we had to go to his place at 07, so we decided to go back home and get ready.

Harry dropped me home and told me he'd pick me up at 07:30.

When I reached home, I saw Liam packing some of his stuff.

"You going somewhere Lilo?"

"Ohh Candy, there you are. I have to go out for 02 days for some work related stuff. But don't you worry, I'll call Aunt Mary and tell her that you'll be alone, so she'll check on you."

"You don't have to do that, I can take care of myself. In fact, I guess I could use a little alone time."

"You sure Candy?"

"Yeah, I'll manage it. And if I'll need anything, I'll call her."

"Okay baby, just take care of yourself and I'll be back super soon. And my phone will be on all the time so I'm just a call away. I love you."

"I love you too. Take care and have a safe journey. Keep me updated."

"Sure Candy. Bye princess."

He gave me a forehead kiss and left.

I went upstairs and opened my closet and was looking through the clothes to pick something nice to wear today. I ended up finding a black dress.

I took a shower and got ready in a while and now I was waiting for Harry. He should be here any minute.

I waited for a couple of minutes and heard his car's horn in the driveway. I locked the door and walked towards his car.

"You look adorable Rose. You'd definitely be turning heads today."

"Hahaha thank you Harry. You look great too."

"Thank you Rose. Shall we?"

"Yeah we should go."

It was a little awkward initially, but we managed the car ride quite fine. We were talking about some upcoming events at the school and a couple of other stuff.

We reached Louis' place in a while. I didn't expect so many people to be there. I thought it'd be a small party for a bunch of friends.

"I didn't know so many people would be attending the party." I told Harry.

"Louis parties grand. He opens the invites for friends of friends. He likes a crowded party more than just a couple of friends. So you can expect meeting people you've never seen before. But don't worry, I'm there with you."

I smiled at him and we went in. The entire house was so crowded, I could barely find a comfortable spot to stand. We meet Louis and everyone else too.

We played a couple of games but got bored after a while so currently we all were dancing. It was fun, being with everyone and having a good time.

Due to the lack of space, we all were dancing in a confined place. A guy standing just a few inches away from me was smoking a cigarette and I couldn't really take the smoke because I'm quite allergic to it, so I thought I'd excuse myself for a while.

I asked the way to the washroom and Louis pointed out the guest rooms for me. The music was so damn loud, we could barely hear each other at all.

I gestured it to Eleanor that I'll be back in a while and went away.

There were a couple of guest rooms so I opened the door to the first one boy it was pre-occupied by a couple so I apologised and went to the other one.

Luckily, this one was empty. I went in and took a deep breath. The atmosphere downstairs was so smokey and the smell of alcohol combined with it, made it almost impossible for me to breath.

I opened the door to the washroom, got in and was fixing my hair when I heard someone entering the room. Maybe someone was looking for a washroom like me. I hurried up and came out.

There was a guy in the room who was drunk as hell. I smiled at him and told him he could use the washroom now. I was about to leave the room when he suddenly shut the door, locked it and stood in front of it.
