Chapter Seventeen

Jade's POV

  I hear whispers, it's Jess and Leigh talking. Then I hear a camera click. Those two drive me nuts. But I love them so I put up with it.

  I open my eyes and see them staring at us, "well that's not creepy at all" they get startled by the sudden noise. "Oh Jadey you guys are so adorable!" Leigh squeals. I have Zoey laying on my stomach and Perrie is on my shoulder. I've never felt more comfortable. Other than the fact that something feels off... I don't know what it is but something doesn't feel right. I decide to ignore it and let it be. I feel Perrie stirring beside me she groans and opens her eyes, those wonderful blue eyes I can get lost in all day.

  When Zoey wakes up she tells me all the stories I've already heard, but now I can see her do hand motions while she talks so it's alright. "How come Uncle Jed's not been here?" She asks. "He's on tour, Belle" I tell her. "Can we call him?" She must miss him, he used to be around all the time and now he's not so... "of course... Can I use someone's phone, I've got no idea where mine is?" I ask my band mates laughing. "Here you go, use mine. He's been wondering about you and I'm sure he'd love to know you're awake." Perrie hands me her phone and I call him.

Jed: Hey Perrie, any news?
Jade: yep! I'm awake!
Jed: JADE! Oh my god! I'm coming!
Jade: oh Jed you don't have to, you're on tour
Jed: I don't care, we don't have any shows for a few days.
Jade: Okay! But a certain someone wants to talk to you
Jed: Alright.
Zoey: Uncle Jed!! I miss you!
Jed: aww I miss you too Petal! I'll be there soon to come see you!
Zoey: when!?
Jed: I'll be there tomorrow!
Zoey: YAYY!!
Jed: *laughs* Alright Zo I love you, I'll see you soon. Be good now.
Zoey: Okay, bye Uncle Jed! I love you!

  She hands the phone to Perrie and she puts it on the charger. "Can we tell the fans that I'm awake now...?" I ask the girl. "AHH!! Jadey that's a great idea! They were so worried about you!" Leigh yells. "Leigh calm down babe" Jess says laughing. Perrie pulls out her phone again and we decide not to tweet about it, let's just surprise them!

  They have the camera facing them three and they look sad... but it's an act. "Hey mixers..." they read some of the comments. "We got some... we got bad news.." Leigh says sadly. Immediately questions asked. "Guys... umm it's been a really sad, bad, just awful day... Jade, well she didn't make it..." Perrie tells them quietly.

  "HHAAA! Just messing with ya!" Jess yells out. She turns the camera towards me and I'm dying of laughter. "Hey guys!" I wave at the camera. They come over and surround me on the bed so we can all see.

  After awhile Jess, Leigh, and Zoey leave to go home while Perrie stays with me, after all she can't leave as she's in the hospital too. Damn girl. She comes over to my bed and lays beside me. "Jade, baby you look like you're in pain do you want me to get the doctor?" She asks me worried. "I'm sure I'm fine babe, I'm just a little dizzy is all" I'm not exactly lying... but it's a little more serious than that... the room is spinning and it's hard to breathe.

  "Jade! What's wrong!?" Perrie asks me frantically. As I start breathing heavily, "Can we just go to sleep, I'm sure I'll be fine" I say. "I don't know Jade, I think I should get a doctor." Before I could protest she's out the door.

  The doctor walks in and asks me what's wrong. I explain to him and he's confused. "I don't understand what's wrong. I believe you, but I've not seen anything like this... I'll have to look in my books. I mean you woke up earlier than expected, you remembered everything, you were in good health other than the coma... I don't know why you're feeling this way, but I'll get to you soon on that. Just rest." He tells me.

  He walks out and I turn to a worried Perrie. "Perrie... I'm sure I'll be fine" I try to reassure her. She says nothing... but I soon find her lips against mine. Those damn feelings again, but I love it... it's absolutely wonderful. All too soon we pull apart.

  "Jade, I love you. I know we've not went on our date yet, but I can't wait any longer. Will you be my girlfriend?" She asks nervously. I answer her by a kiss. "I take that as a yes..." I just wink at her. She lays by my side and I rest my head on her chest and sigh happily.

  "I love you Perrie" I say breaking the silence. "I love you too Jadey" She says back. I smile and look at her she smiles at me and I give her a quick peck on the lips and hurry back to me spot on her chest giggling. "Heyyy" she whines. "Yes my love?" I ask innocently. "Tease" she mutters under her breath. I giggle and actually kiss her this time. She smiles against my lips, as do I. "I love you Jadey. I was scared to death something was going to happen to you." She says looking deep into my eyes. "Well I'm here baby and I love you" I say right back.

  I fall asleep in her embrace just like it should be.

Perrie's POV

  Jade falls asleep in my arms I smile lovingly at her and wonder how I got so lucky.

  "Oh Jadey you'll never know just how much you mean to me." I stroke her hair. I know she's asleep and can't hear me, but I want to tell her anyways. "I hope one day you'll be able to see your worth. You don't give yourself enough credit. You mean the world to me... you're my hero. You risked yourself for us girls. I could never thank you enough for that. No matter how stupid I think it was... I should've been the one he hit, damn it Jade! Why didn't you let him take me instead? If I could I would change our positions in a heartbeat just to know you wouldn't be in pain. But... honestly if you were in my position... I mean I'm in so much pain just to see you hurt. I don't know what you'd feel if it were me though... I love you baby and I just really want you to feel better." I tell her as if she can hear me.

  I wake up to Jade shaking me. "Baby what's wrong?" I ask quietly. "Pez... there's something wrong I can feel it." She says through tears. I quickly get up and pull her onto my lap, I wipe her tears and ask what's wrong. "Perrie I just want to to know I love you very, very much. Please never forget that." She says sobbing into shoulder. "I don't know what's going to happen... I just need you to be sure not to forget that. Perrie... I'm going to die, as in soon... I just know it. I'm sorry" she cries out. Tears are going down my face but I focus on her. "Oh baby nothings going to happen" I try to reassure her but I don't think it's going to work. "Perrie... I don't want to leave you, Zoey, the girls, my family, or the fans behind... I love you guys more than anything. Please tell Zoey every Night that I love her, because I won't be here to do it. Can you please get her that stuffed animal fish she was talking about too? Please she really wants it. And tell the girls that I love them and they were my sisters, I don't want to leave them Perrie, I promise. My family, I love them and I'm glad I was apart of that family I couldn't have got a better one. The fans, tell the fans I love them and to never stop being themselves, just believe. Perrie please let them know... because I won't be able to tell them.." she tells me breathless. I hold her close to me, not at all knowing what she means by this... she's not dying, she can't be! I won't let her!

  "Perrie I love you, I love you so much. I always have, I just never knew. Pezza you're the best person I've ever met. You're the best mother, lover, sister, best friend, or role model anyone could ask for. Promise me... if you ever find someone else you'll make sure they treat you right, make sure they show Zoey just as much love as I do, don't get another Alex. Please Perrie... I think you'll have to let me go..." She's sobbing barley able to breathe. Tears are streaming down my face and the only response I can come up with is, "but you're worth holding on to..." I cry to her. She leans up and wipes my tears. She kisses me, but there's something wrong!

  I see her eyes roll back and she starts having a seizure again. "Jade! Please baby... don't go! DOCTOR!! I NEED A DOCTOR!!" I scream out holding Jade in my arms. I can't let go... I love her.

  The doctors rush in and are all over the place they lead me over to me bed so I don't get in the way. I just look over them and watch hoping my baby will be okay.

  But I feel my heart stop along with hers... when I hear "beeeeeeeeepppp..."
