Chapter 57

Perrie's POV

   When we get to the hospital they rush Jade into another room, somewhere I'm not allowed to go. I pace back and forth in the waiting room, it's my fault, I shouldn't have been so awful towards her! What the fuck is wrong with me!?

I need to call the girls, they're probably worried.. how do I tell them this? I have to talk to Jade about it before I tell them.. it's not my place to tell them what happened. Jade's been out for about forty minutes now.. I'll just call the girls. They answer after two rings.

Jesy: "What happened!? Where are you guys!? Did you find her!?" Not even a second spared before she asked all the questions

Me: "Jess... could you call me mam and Norma to come. Because we'll need them. Uhh.. we're at the hospital, but please don't bring Zoey. Get Jed to watch her. I heard he's visiting"

Leigh: "why're you guys at the hospital!? She's not dead is she!?" She starts to cry.

Me: "no no! She's still alive it's just somethings happened.. she'll need you girls here as well as her mam. I'll have my man watch Zoey" I tell them.

Leigh: "well what happened..?"

Me: "I think Jade should be the one to tell you. But it was bad.. it was.... just get over here please"

Jess: "we'll be there Pez, don't worry. I got ahold of Jed and he's more than happy to look after Zoey. We'll drop her off then be on our way. We're coming as soon as we can. Hang in there babe"

Me: "thank you.. uhh could I talk to Zoey please?"

Jess: "of course babe" you can hear her call for Zoey and I hear the pitter patter of her feet coming.

Zoey: "Hello!?" She tells o to the phone

Me: "Zoey, honey, there's no need to shout I can hear you"

Zoey: "oh sorry mommy. Are you coming back? Can you get me a juice please!?"

Me: "I'm sorry babe, I can't right now. I'm with Mommy Jade right now and she's really hurt, so I'm going to be staying with her. But I need you to be a good girl for Uncle Jed. Can you do that for mommy?"

Zoey: "What happened to Mommy Jade?" She asks me.

Me: "she just got into a little accident babe, nothing for you to worry about. We'll be back soon" I tell her

Zoey: "I told you she was dying! You didn't listen to me! I said she needed a doctor but you kept being mean to her! And now she's dead! And it's your fault! You're stupid and I hate you for killing her!"

And the line went dead.. I stood there frozen for a minute. My daughter just said she hated me... she thinks I killed Jade. I bite the inside of my lip trying to convince myself that she didn't mean it and she doesn't understand. Jade's not even dead!

Trying to push it to the back of my head I get called in by the doctor. "Are you one of the emergency contacts for Miss Jade Thirlwall?" He asks me. "Yes sir" I answer. "And which one might you be?" He asked. "Perrie Edwards" I say. He nods his head and allows me to follow him through. He stops in front of a door to a room in which I'm assuming is my girlfriend's. "She'll be fine, she's still shaken up though. The best thing for her right now is to be surrounded by supporter and loved ones" he tells me. I nod my head, "she's right in there waiting" he points to the door, "thank you doctor" I say before slowly entering the hospital room.

As I enter I see Jade staring at the wall with a blank stare. "Jade..?" I call trying to get her attention but it seems to fail. "Hey baby.. are you alright?" I ask her. I know it's a stupid question but it's all I can think of. We sit in silence for about ten minutes before she turns to me with tears, "I'm sorry Perrie" her voice cracks. Instantly joking her side and hug her allowing her to burry her head in my chest and just cry. I rub her back and whisper sweet nothings into her ear, "I'm sorry sweetheart.. I should've been there sooner. I love you" and I kiss her forehead.

After awhile she calms down but remains pressed again me. "Did you tell anyone?" She whispers into my chest. "No" I answer. "I don't want to be the one to tell the girls... will you do it for me?" She asks me sweetly. "Baby are you sure?" I ask her. "Perrie don't make me do it" she starts to cry again. "Sshh baby it's okay, I won't make you" I coo rocking her slowly. "W-what about Zoey? Where is she?" She asks me. I swallow the lump in my throat being reminded of Zoey and I's conversation earlier, "she's with the girls, about to be with Jed. So the girls can come here" I tell her, She softly nods.

After about an hour we're still in the same position as before and we hear a knock at the door. I let out a soft 'come in' and the girls appear. "Jadey.." Jess says softly and joins us on the bed. Leigh looks at me for answers and I just motion for her to join us. You see this May seem unfair.. but seeing as Jade is a celebrity she gets to be in the VIP section of the hospital, so the bed is bigger and more comfortable than the others. So we all sit on the bed, we're all pretty small so the beds not as big as it may seem. But I have Jade on my lap and we're in the middle of the two girls.

She's holding both the girls hands and leaning back on me, "care to tell us what happened?" Jess says. I feel Jade stiffen and then more so she's facing me instead and she just hides her face in my neck. I rub her back knowing she likes that and it calms her. "Perrie.. can you do it" She cries holding onto me tighter. I kiss her temple and give her a small 'of course'. I turn to the girls which is quite difficult seeing as they're on either side of me.

I look at them nervously and begin, "..Jade got into a little trouble when she left. Umm... she was—" I cut myself off by recalling the awful thing I saw, I swallow thickly and continue, "She was.. trapped" I say. "Trapped? Trapped how?" Jess asks getting more concerned. "I had to sit there and watch as they.. they uhh.. yeah" I sigh and lay my head back not wanting to finish.

Jade sits up and you can see her tears, "I was raped.." she tells me. Leigh's instantly hugging her and Jess is just frozen in shock. Jess snaps out of it and stands up, clearly pissed. "Who the fuck was it!? I want names!" I get up and approach her, while Jade stays with Leigh Anne. "We don't know.. I don't even know if the police got all of them" I say. "I'm going to the police department then" she throws on her jacket and goes to head out.

"Jess please.. just stay with us.. Jade needs you" I say. She instantly softened up and went to Jade. Her motherly instincts must have kicked in. She sat down and Jade went over to her and cuddled up to her side while Leigh came over to me and gave me a hug.

   "Are you Alright Perrie?" She asked me. "I'm not the one you should be comforting" I tell her. "Yeah but you said you had to watch it.." she says. "Yeah.. it was... awful" I say quietly. "Are you okay?" She repeats. "As long as she is" I answer.

  She looks as me sadly and as she was about to say something we get cut off by the door flying open. And Paul's bitch ass shows up! Just when we thought it couldn't get any worse..
