Sujeong's pov
When he told me that I was gonna meet his parents, I was afraid that they wouldn't like me. I was afraid that maybe they'll think that I might hold him back.
But...
Meeting his parents was indeed a good happening for me.
The whole time we were with his parents made feel a so loved that I couldn't help my smile from showing. His parents were raised Taehyung with simplicity, No wonder why he is a kind and loving man to all.
We were all having a great time together until his father asked about my parents. My smile almost immediately disappears but I managed to pull off a noticeably forced smile. I noticed that I caught their attention, even Taehyung, they were waiting for me to speak.
"My biological parents are gone. My biological mom died while giving birth to me while my father couldn't care less and gave me to the adoption centre at the age of two. That is where I met Mr. and Mrs.Ryu. They couldn't bear a child and decided to adopt me. They were a good parents to me that I can proudly call them Mom and Dad."
I finished my statement with a smile and hid my balled fist under thighs. Somehow, I never felt my eyes sting with pain and agony since I was too young back then. My mind was pure and too innocent to even understand that time. I was just uncomfortable to share with them. I was of afraid of being judged by my new family.
