Chapter 16 | His POV

Flashback
4 months after Lovelyz debut
It was the day when Lovelyz will perform in London live.
They were all very excited to meet new fans especially since it's their first here in London.
They really practiced hard to give fans a good impression about them and the concert is for free just to promote their group.
Finally they went up to the stage and the sight disappointed them.

The people who came can even be counted by fingers.
But they were still happy that people came and continued their performance.
In the middle of performing, some people started to leave saying they weren't worth their time and they can't understand them but some stayed.
The one who stayed listened to them attentively and some was just busy with their phone.

They understand that people don't know about them yet since they were a new rookie group but they are still humans who can feel emotions.
It really saddens them by how people act there but despite that they continued to perform until they officially ended their concert.

As soon as they were in the back stage they broke down crying.
From that day they swore to work hard for their group and fans.
They marked that day and remember it as a lesson and encouragement.

But yet years later they weren't still that famous  though they work hard.

The day she needed to book a ticket
Sujeong is going to buy a ticket online as she don't want to take risk on going to book a ticket especially since fans found out.
She's still thinking about where to go and she wanted it to be somewhere memorable yet some where she isn't known.

'I don't want to cause trouble to our future child and I also wanted to go somewhere I wasn't known or somewhere I can truly be me."

Suddenly, she remembered London.
That's the place where she told Taehyung where she wanted to grow old and that's also the place where their concert was held years ago.

The concert that taught them a lesson.
And place where they realized popularity can't hold you forever.

"When I first met her I thought we could be friends, so I offered her to go to an Ice cream store with me.
But our moment in the Ice cream parlor was really epic.
I thought I messed up and couldn't be friends with her.
Yet I was wrong.
She laughed and told me I'm a very funny person."

"In that moment I realized we weren't just some random strangers who will part their ways later on.
I thought that maybe fate has something more special for us in the future.
I thought that maybe, just maybe there's something stored for us.
And I believed it."

"I tried my best to be the man of of her dreams.
And maybe I should have focused on making her fall in love with me.
I thought I was doing good but I was actually messing up.
I didn't knew that I was messing up until she made me realize that I was."

"My heart melted and begged for a second chance.
And she did.
That time I tried to be someone who is really me.
Not the one who tried to be a perfect man
I showed her who I really was and what I was before.
And she did the same."

"And within a year
I finally got the answer that I was eager to have.
It was probably the one of the happiest moments of my life.
But when I got her answer
My career was on the way.
It was our time to debut as group.
While she was going to debut in a year or so."

"We decided to keep our relationship as a secret
For the sake of each other.
Despite having to keep it as a secret
We were happy."

"I know her more than anyone and more than she know herself.
I know her flaws and imperfections but that's what made her,her.
I know what she likes and dislikes.
I know when she is sincere and serious.
I know everything about her."

"But I realized I was wrong.
She was also hiding something.
I found her secret by myself."

"They won an award and I was going to surprise her and her group.
I went to their dorm secretly and bought their favorite foods.
I went to her room to fix some of her things as it's also part of the surprise."

"But I was actually the one who was surprised.
And that's how I found out she was pregnant.
I was still in the state of being shock when I suddenly heard them.
I hurriedly fixed her room and gently put back what I just saw.
An Ultrasound and Pregnancy test."

"I wasn't mad nor stressed and I was actually happy.
So I thought I should propose to her.
The way she wanted it to be.
Secretly.
And just when I thought I could finally be with her forever
She was suddenly gone."

"When I tried to find her
She was the one who caught me.
She caught me smoking and by knowing her
I know she was disappointed.
I wanted to make it up to her but I know she would keep hiding
If she knew it was me.
So I thought I can provide her the things she needed especially comfort
Without knowing it was from me."

"And I know this way
I can talk to her.
I can talk to her even if she doesn't know me and I'll just
Secretly watch.
And maybe I could tell her about us.
Talk about us.
Hoping she might give it a try."

"Even though this might not work
I'm just gonna keep hoping and Loving."
