Forty-two

Jess's P.O.V

The sun shine bright as I step out from the hotel that me and Conor had stayed at for the night. He had a show later on tonight and driving in to London a day early had definitely made it all easier, especially when it came down to the kids.

"Mummy look!"

Nelle points at a couple of squirrels balancing on the fence to Hyde park, her excited scream instantly scaring them away into the bushes.

"You need to be calm around animals Nelle, otherwise you'll just scare them"

She stops to look at some flowers growing on the side of the path, allowing me to take a cute little photo of her in her ponytail and dress.

"This is for you mummy"

I smile as she hands me one of the flowers, placing it down on the roof of Ladeo's pram.

"And this one is for Laeo"

She puts it right next to her sleeping baby brother, making sure not to wake him up.

"That's really sweet of you. I'm sure he'll love that when he wakes up"

Proud does she walk off in front of me, running around the park as if it is no tomorrow.

That's until she spots Merissa and Casp in the distance, the couple holding hands as Caspar carries their little boy in a baby carrier, his tiny body almost disappearing into it.

"Hello baby girl"

Merissa bends down to give Leonelle a hug, more than happily picking her up so that she can look at the tiny baby.

"What's his name?"

"Don't be silly now, I've told you his name"

I chuckle, stroking her head as I wait for her to think.

"I don't remember mummy"

"It's Noah, Noah Joshua Lee"

Merissa smile down at her and manage to save the situation just in time before Nelle starts crying.

"Isn't he cute?"

Nelle nods her head quickly as Merissa puts her down on the ground again, letting her run off on her own for a while.

"I thought Conor was going to come"

Caspar is walking beside me, our shoulders touching as we watch Merissa and Leonelle in front of us.

"Unfortunately he got busy, sound check apparently started earlier than he thought"

"The downside with having a popstar boyfriend"

I nod even though I didn't really see it as a negative thing. As long as Conor enjoyed having his shows I'd happily support him doing it and with that came him having to miss stuff like this.

"Honestly I'm just happy he's still having fun with the whole thing, there was a time not too long ago when he hated everything that had to do with performing live"

Caspar smile, watching Merissa and Leonelle in the distance.

"I've always known you're a clever girl J but I'd never think you'd be this smart"

"I think love does that to you, like Conor's changed a lot since he met me, just like you and Merissa"

I look down at Ladeo, he is still fast asleep and I'm internally celebrating right now, mainly because he hasn't slept a full night for weeks and both me and Conor have been suffering a lot.
