Jess's P.O.V

The next morning do I wake up in bed and I look around the room, confused over the fact that I wasn't on the sofa anymore. That's when I realise that Conor must've carried me back to the bedroom after I fell asleep and I sigh content, letting my head fall back on to the soft pillow as his cute face appear in the doorway.

"Morning gorgeous"

He hand me a cup of tea and a slice of toast before he sink down next to me in bed.

"Happy birthday mummy!"

Leonelle run in and jump up on top of me. I give Conor a strange look and he just shake his head.

"I told her we were going to give you breakfast in bed and she apearantly associated that with celebrating your birthday"

Laughing do I steal a kiss from my daughter before she's off to play on her own.

"Thank you"

I say it just as Conor connect his lips with mine, his sweet taste calming me down.

"No worries, You seemed to need it. Anth's fine by the way, I spoke to Jack earlier this morning"

He winks as he stand up from the side of the bed and walk over to the mirror to have a look at his hair. He was proper cute, wearing his full red adidas tracksuit that he'd got given from YouTube a few years ago.

I  take a sip of tea, Conor watching me through the mirror, smiling.

...........

"Conor stop it, we're in public"

Conor roll his eyes and let me back down to the ground, snaking his arm around my waist as we continue to walk behind Leonelle.

"I just want everyone to know that you're mine and mine only"

I giggle, the thought of him carrying me around in the park cracking me up. Why was my boyfriend so weird.

"Oh, so that's how it is now huh"

He steal a quick kiss, the feel of his soft lips against mine lingering as he focus back on Leonelle in front of us.

"Look baby, isn't that a perfect spot?"

Conor point at a stretch of grass a couple of hundred meters away and I nod, he'd found the perfect picnic spot. Smiling does he pick Leonelle up, carrying her on his shoulders as we begin to walk over to it.

The place feels strangely familiar and I struggle to remember the last time I could've been here. The small pond, surrounded by tall trees. It was beautiful.

"I wish it was warmer"

Conor zip his jacket up to his chin, wrapping his arms tight around Leonelle, who's sat inbetween his legs on the grass.

"Yeah, summer went by too quickly, like it's November in just under a week"

It was soon to be Christmas season once again, the fourth one for us as a couple and I would've lied if I said I wasn't excited. Christmas did always bring out your inner child and for me and Conor who both acted childish the rest of the year, Christmas was our peak.

"We're going to have a four year old in like four months, that's crazy"

Leonelle was born on the fourteenth of February, or Valentine's day. I remember it clearly how me and Conor were planning to go out and have a romantic dinner together, how I started to have contractions early in the morning and Conor having to drive me to hospital.
