YOU WALK SLOW!❞ James exaggerated. "So, so, so slow. Like my grandma walks faster then you," he teased.

"Shut up!" She said as she lightly slapped his shoulder. "I mean come on! You're a footballer! You can run for miles and not get tired."

"Not even, you just walk really slow."

Natalia rolled her eyes. "It's seven in the morning, on a Saturday. I should be sleeping but instead you made me get up and go on a damn walk, with you?"

James scoffed, "What's wrong with going on a walk? With me?" He said. "And why'd you agree to it then?" He laughed.

"Because you told me that you'd buy me Bandeja Pasia right after, at the cute little restaurant that makes really good food.."

James stopped jogging and looked at her. "Wow, so you only came for food," he said, shaking his head at her, which caused her to let out a giggle.

"Why am I not surprised Natalia?" He asked. "Well if you want food we're gonna finish our walk and then get your food."

"Fine," she sighed and continued lazily jogging behind James.

-

"You sure you don't want some?" Natalia asked James, offering him some of the food he had bought for her. "Are you serous? You love Bandeja Pasia."

"No, I'm fine with a coffee," he responded.

"Your lost," she mumbled and continued to stuff her face with food.

James only stared at Natalia, with a smile on his face. Everything she possibly did; he still found beautiful. Even if she was stuffing her face with food or just a simple smile, she was still beautiful to him. Everything was just perfect about her. He saw absolutely no flaws to her.

It was crazy for him to think that she was still the same girl he had fallen for at the age of fifteen. Natalia had only changed up her look a bit, her hair was much, much shorter than it was back then. Her hair wasn't kept in the long braids she always wore. Her hair was now shoulder length and straightened.

She also didn't wear much makeup, which James loved because he had always thought she never need makeup, she was already beautiful either way. But she always had the long dark eyelashes and big full lips.

This morning she had worn no makeup at all; since they would be going on a walk and from the moment he saw her, all he could remember was the younger version of Natalia.

Lately all he's been thinking about was Natalia, the only thought that ran in his mind was her. How could he not think of her?

She was absolutely beautiful, and any man would want her. But James didn't want her for that. He loved her because of her heart, her personality. Natalia was not only beautiful skin deep, but within the heart also.

Maybe at first she acted so different towards James because she didn't want him in her life anymore, but he wouldn't blame her, he would've done the same if it was vice versa.

"James, stop staring it's creepy," she laughed making him come out of his little daydream.

"I wasn't," he laughed and his cheeks were becoming a bit pink.

Natalia rolled her eyes, "Mhm. But you sure you don't want some because you know I can't eat all of this."

James nodded and began to eat. "You remember when my mom would cook us this? And the tres leches cake we loved?"

She nodded, "Just that your mom would make it a hundred times better."

"Yeah," he smiled. "I really miss Cúcuta, and overall Colombia sometimes. I miss my mother, my father, and all of my family."

"I miss Colombia a lot, don't you just miss being young and playing around in the streets of Cúcuta?" She asked.

How he missed it being only fifteen without a worry or care in the world, and his only priority was becoming a footballer. Every child in Colombia dreamt of becoming a professional footballer and taking their country to the World Cup, and that dream had come true for James.

"Nata, you remember the time we were practicing our kicks and you accidentally hit some lady's head with the ball," he laughed.

Natalia nodded, "I do," she laughed. "Or the time that you broke Juana's window."

"And you said that you did it so I wouldn't get in trouble. But turns out we both got into so much trouble," he added.

Their childhood was filled with so many memories. Memories she could never replace, or ever forget about.

Natalia was thankful that she had spent time with James this morning, she felt like she had time to actually listen to him.

"I've missed you a lot, Nata," he spoke quietly, with a beautiful smile plastered on his face.

"I missed you too, James."
