THE WEEKEND HAD GONE BY QUICK

THE WEEKEND HAD GONE BY QUICK. James and Natalia would only be spending the weekend in Paris, since they both had to go back to Madrid for work.

James wished sometimes that he could stay with Natalia for the rest of his life, somewhere beautiful, and where he would never have to worry about anything.

They had arrived in Paris very early in the morning, fallen asleep as soon as they had arrived at their hotel, and then spent the afternoon together exploring the beautiful city that Paris was. They would be going home to Madrid very early in the morning on Monday.

They had spent their Sunday morning by going to a café and having breakfast and exploring new attractions. They had decided to end their Sunday night- quick trip- by having dinner together, at a restaurant that Natalia thought was the most beautiful restaurant that she had ever been to. James had even bought her roses for this dinner/date- he saw their dinner more as a date rather than a friendly dinner.

"James, this place is so beautiful, must've cost a lot to even get reservations. You shouldn't have, really," Natalia said, as she looked around in awe. Which James couldn't help but find so adorable. "Anything for you, Nata," he said, making her cheeks redden up.

Natalia was still in awe as she looked around. "Shut your mouth, flies will go in," he laughed, as their waiter led them up to more of a private area, with less people. He held out her chair for her sit, being the gentleman he was. From where they were seated, they could see the Eiffel Tower, not the best view, but the fact that James had done something so amazing like bringing her to Paris was already enough.

They took a few pictures, to keep as memories of their small trip to France. Natalia knew she would remember these few days forever.

"This is all just so beautiful. I know you don't want to hear me saying 'you shouldn't have' or anything like that because you always get annoyed, so thank you so much James," she smiled, making him smile as well. The same beautiful smile she had fallen for.

James had a look on his face, a look that he would only have when he looked at Natalia, a look that could be explained as love.

He was thankful for another opportunity, another opportunity that he had gotten to make things right again. If he would think back to a few months back, he would've believe he would be here with Natalia, in Paris- in one of the most, if not the most romantic city in the world. He would've liked if they would've been together, as they would explored Paris together for much longer than two days. But the fact that Natalia was back his life was enough to satisfy him.

After they had dined, and hours they had spent talking, they had left the restaurant and decided on going on a walk in the beautiful streets of Paris. "I can't believe we're going back tomorrow. I really loved it here. I love Madrid, but I think I could stay here forever," she laughed, as she walked alongside James.
