IT HAD BEEN OVER A MONTH since James had seen Natalia. The last time being when she admitted her feelings towards him.

He had not heard since her since then, of course, he was dying to see her or even hear her voice. But he followed his teammate, Raphaël's advice. Even though he hated not talking to her or at least knowing how she was- he kept his distance. Knowing that was what was right for the both.

James knew she needed lots of time, and maybe a month wasn't enough, but he wanted to see her. Or at least know how she was doing.

He had kept his distance, and followed the advice he was given. James had sent Natalia tickets for the group stage matches, and he knew that he had 'bent' a bit the advice but he had still not talked to her.

So far, she had not shown up to the first group-stage match that was versus Japan- and Colombia had lost 2-1. Things weren't currently looking the best for Los Cafeteros in the 2018 World Cup at the moment.

James hoped that she would show up, but they hadn't talked to one another in over a month, so he really didn't expect her to show up. But she did.

Natalia had kept the group-stage tickets for all three of Colombia's matches, and she had to miss the first match due to work. But somehow she had worked out a few things to be able to attend Colombia's last two group-stage matches, versus Poland and Senegal and then some time off to visit her family.

She had arrived in Kazan, Russia in the afternoon and just went straight to her hotel room because she was exhausted from her 8-hour flight from Madrid to Kazan. The next morning she had woken up a bit late due to the fact that it was an hour earlier back in Madrid.

She had started her day by getting breakfast first and then going around and exploring Kazan. Natalia had enjoyed her day, despite having to spend the entire day alone. She would've told Raphaël to come along, but she decided against it- assuming that he was probably busy with training and preparing for the next match. But she let him know that she was in Kazan as well.

Before she headed back to her hotel, she got herself some lunch and got herself back to the hotel on the train. Which she felt proud of because she had not gotten lost in a country she had never visited.

She spent the last few hours watching a show, that she didn't even understand and had to watch with subtitles, before getting ready for the match. As she headed out and neared the Kazan Arena, she saw many and many groups of people wearing the yellow jersey, with big smiles on their faces as they wore their country's colors proudly.

It had taken quite a while for her to get checked and finally be allowed into the stadium, but when she was finally let in, she let out a sigh and fixed her deep blue jersey. She walked into the area where she would be sitting, and she was easily recognized by James' family- she had truly missed them because they had been like her second family growing up.
