IT HAD BEEN ALMOST TWO WEEKS since Natalia (along with James) had been in Colombia. Throughout that time, they had spent almost every second of it together. They just couldn't get enough of each other, and they both didn't mind it either. They were enjoying the time they had together, away from their real lives and most importantly; away from their problems.

It wasn't that they didn't enjoy their lives and jobs- they loved what they did but sometimes everything became too hectic, and just too much. Neither was there enough time, there was never time for them. Being back in their homeland, the place everything commenced for them- it had a surreal feel to it. In Colombia; everything felt normal, perfect almost.

The word perfect had much meaning to everyone; but for James and Natalia, perfect meant finding happiness. For them, their happiness was within one another. Different circumstances had gotten in the way of it, and for once, everything was perfect. Just like they had imagined it would have been when they were younger.

James didn't feel like the football superstar James Rodriguez, he felt like the same humble and sweet kid he was growing up. He grew up in a small town, in one where everyone knew each other and got along. James could freely go out within his neighborhood without being bombarded with questions and people wanting to get his attention. They still saw him as the same boy he was before leaving Colombia.

He was able to spend time with Natalia freely, for the most part. They had gone to the beach in Providencia, which was a small island that was also a part of Colombia. They had gone to Medellin with a few friends and explored the Medellin night-life. And of course, they had gone to the annual festival held in Cúcuta that they always had gone to when they were younger. All the little things about being in Cúcuta had meant a lot for Natalia because she felt as if she was a little girl again- as if she had gone back in time and relived everything that was so close to her heart.

James and Natalia were able to do many things, things they just couldn't have been able to do in Madrid. Everything was so different between the two cities- both cities who James could call his home and both had a special meaning to him. Those reasons were connected to Natalia- who felt like his home as well. Cúcuta was where he had first met Natalia, where he was born, where he discovered his love for football. As for Madrid, it gave him everything career-wise, and it helped him realize that he was in love with Natalia.
