Work was mundane as per usual and you were way too distracted with thoughts of Tom, thoughts of Spider-Man, thoughts of sleeping with Spider-Man.  You smiled to yourself. If ever there was a bucket list item...Check.

When 4:00 came, you raced out of there.  Your whole shift you were dying to talk about the bomb that was dropped on you this morning.  You knew exactly who you needed to talk to.

"Celia!" you waved at you phone.

"Y/N! Girl, you look great!" Celia has been your best friend for over 25 years, ever since she shared her Kit Kat with you in grade school.  She was the first person you called after you lost your virginity - "I think I did it wrong," you said. "Girl, you need to try again!" she advised.  She was the maid of honor at your wedding - "If you change your mind, I know a guy who can make it look like an accident," she whispered to you at the alter.  And she was the first person you went to after you left Jason. - "I'm sorry, girl. Rico's cousin always thought you were cute. Want me to call him and maybe you can get laid and get your mind off things?" she offered.  Celia was pretty much the best person in the world and you could not wait to get her wisdom.

"Celia, things are so crazy right now.  I'm sorry I haven't Skyped you sooner," you said.  Truth was, Celia's life was so put together, you were embarrassed to approach her about certain things.  She has the perfect marriage, with three kids, nice house and a teaching gig at Fordham University.  And you left a six figure salary, your marriage, basically your whole life behind to do what?  You still weren't sure.

"What is going on, girl?" Celia asked.  She had two children currently climbing on her and a third making faces at you in the background.

"Celia, I don't even know where to begin. Ok, yes I do- I met someone," you cringed then planted your face in your palm.

"What? Why you like that? Is he hot?" Leave it to Celia to get down to substance.

"Yes," you felt your smile widen uncontrollably, "and young."

"How young?" she asked.

"Nineteen."

"Y/N!" Celia's jaw dropped.

"I know! I know!" you buried your face in your pillow. "But that's not even the half of it.  He's also an actor."

"What like theatre? Like 'Cats' or something?" she wrinkled her nose and you laughed.

"That's what I said!"

"So what you got like a James Bond over there? Or a Harry Potter?!" she threw her head back and screamed with laughter.  Little Javier started dancing in the background.

"And Celia, I shit you not..."

"Y/N, the children." Celia frowned at you.

"Sorry. Celia, he's playing Spider-Man!" you put your hands to your face and gave her a look of panic.

"What?! Get the fuck outta here!" Celia gasped, then covered little Elias' ears, "Shit. Mommy didn't say shit..or fuck. RICOOOO!! Come get these kids! They're crawling all over me!" she shouted and Rico swooped into frame and swooped right back out with all three kids.

"Hi, Rico," you gave a half hearted wave.

"Girl," Celia said now finally alone and ready for some dirt, "you sleep with him?"

"Yeah," you grinned, stretching out on your bed, "Twice."

"And...?" she prompted.

You sighed, "And it was amazing, really. He has...stamina." Your face was scorching.  You were all giddy talking about him and it was downright ridiculous.

"Oh my god, Y/N, look at you.  You're practically floating.  What's this boy done to you?" Celia said amazed.

"What? Nothing," you said defensively, "it's just a fling.  I'm just going to enjoy it and, you know, not care," you said, trying to sound convincing.

Celia cocked an eyebrow at you.  Oh no, you knew that look. "Y/N, you know I see through your bullshit, right? Don't you think you deserve to be happy after all this time?  You know there's no mourning period for a marriage.  Jason was a bad husband and you wasted too many years trying to make him a good one."

"What are you saying?" you asked.

"I'm saying, don't write it off as a fling if you think it could be something more."

"But he's 19, Celia.  What more could there be?"

"Please girl, you are the most immature person I've met.  You got a superhero tattooed on you and your favorite movie is The Little Mermaid," she snapped.

"Thanks a lot!" you laughed.

"What do you think he wants?" she asked.

"I haven't a clue.  He doesn't seem to care about the age gap.  He never asked and when I mentioned my age, he just let it go.  I'm the one making it a thing." you answered.

"How does he make you feel?" she asked in a serious tone.

You thought about it for a moment.
"Safe, sexy, comfortable, scared, excited, revered, aroused...happy."

"Well that's a lot of feelings there, Y/N, but I'm sure it's nothing more than a fling," she said sarcastically.

"I get your point," you rolled your eyes.

"Plus, Y/N, Peter Parker has been your wet dream since we were fourteen.  Remember when you wrote that argument about how M.J. was the worst thing to happen to Spider-Man for debate class?" Celia laughed.

"I hate M.J.," you muttered.

"All I'm saying is that you're on this journey, right?  And you're trying new things and figuring stuff out and maybe there's a reason why the first guy that's taken a shine to you just happens to be Spider-Man?  Maybe he's just what you need right now."

Celia the Sage.  God love her.

"I miss you," you said sadly.

"I miss you too, girl. Maybe don't wait three weeks to skype me next time." She blew you a kiss.

"Promise," you smiled, "Love you."

"Love you too. Now go get some more ass because honestly, you've never looked better." she laughed.

"I've got this new youth serum I've been using...," you said, giving her a smirk.

"Ew, Y/N! Good-bye!" she screamed, smiling, and ended the call.

You rolled over onto your side and hugged your pillow, closing your eyes.  Maybe he is just what I need right now, you thought.  And as if on cue, your phone chimed with a text from Tom.

It read simply: 😘
