Its clawed hand was against his throat, his neck already gleaming with fresh blood. That thing had a thin frame, scary thin. It was a surprise at how much strength it had, its weight leaning against Icel as he was pressed to the tree. Its body representing darkness and pain as whispers of darkness ebbed from it. Icel's eyes were showing helplessness, prey to the savage monster. Only breathes away from his inimitable death.
He whipped his gaze to me, snarling softly. His eyes reflected two pools of death.
"You." His voice rasping and spitting out the word like I was trash. Dark. Lethal. Dangerously beautiful, no matter how wicked.
He didn't take one glance at Gemi, his gaze wholly affixed on me. That predatory gaze staring into the depths of my soul.
"If you want me, then why are you at his throat?" I ask calmly, unflinching from his gaze.
"How'd you escape?" It hissed. Not answering my question.
"You didn't answer my question." I say blankly.
Its claw moves in a little deeper, and Icel stiffens.
"I found my way out. It's wasn't that hard." I lie.
"Oh yeah?" It steps away from Icel to start walking towards me in just enough time that he sidesteps, and pushes it against the tree. Icel transforms, and lifts it with one claw.
Before he can tear it to shreds, he manages to squeak out, "The queen, she wants you." It gives us a bloody grin and finishes, "She will never stop looking."
Thick black blood paints the tree, oozing down the bark like sap.
I look to Icel and Rina and say, "Why would she want me?"
"Who knows. Probably for her cat and mouse toy." Rina says back.
I squeeze her again and murmur, "I'm so glad you are alive."
"Of course I am. You guys don't know what to do without me. You don't have anyone else to give you a proper orgasm."
Icel spits, his eyes wide, as he walks away. Gemi follows him silently, to the cliff edge.
"Where'd you go?" I ask her.
"I went to get something of importance, so you wouldn't get hurt further. Do you know how scared I was when you were ripped away from me?"
"You led me to believe you were dead, do you know how scared I was?" I yell at her, angry tears trailing my cheeks.
She wipes her thumb across my tears, and looks at me.
"I'm never truly gone."

We make our way back through the Carnivorous forests, our feet padding the soil. The woods whisper to me, the thin trees swaying. They seemed to lean towards me, over towering us so high that it appears to never end as they reach towards the sky.
My feet start to squish, and I instantly know where we were. There was no way in hell we were going back through that.
Icel would have to try.
"I don't care the cost. We are going to try to fly over this." Icel says in front of me, "Damn my wing. We need to get back so that I can heal it."
Rina looks towards Icel, worry in her eyes.
"What if we all fall and get swallowed?"
"That's the risk we take." I say.
We all look towards the lake about a yard away, we wouldn't risk getting too close.
A ripple, then we look towards Icel's dragon form.
I climb on first, Gemi coming up behind me as Rina and I sandwich her between us.
Icel pumps one powerful push to his wings, and we are up off the ground by a few feet. He pumps another, getting a little higher.
He pushes himself, moving across the lake inch by inch.
He swivels, threatening to knock us all off. I hold onto his flank, Gemi holding my waist behind me.
We drop a foot, and Icel tries to pull himself back up.
We were inches from the lake, there would be nothing we could do if something dragged him down. Us all going with him.
I breath, trying to not have a panic attack.
He beats his wings, bringing us back up some. He drops again, his tail touching the water.
No, no, no, no.
We were all silent, not distracting Icel so that he could get us past this.
We were halfway through the lake, it was only a little longer.
He used the last of his strength as he pushes us a little farther, and he collapses on the bank.
We made it.
I look behind me, to make sure that everyone was okay.
I see Gemi holding on to the edge of the lake, struggling to get back up.
I gape, and jump off to retrieve her. But before I could, Rina reaches down and hoists her up.
I hang over my knees, sighing in relief.
Now we just had to deal with the boundary, unless something else came our way.
After everyone brushes themselves off, catching our breathes, we move on.
Icel transforms back into his other form. His black hair gleamed with sweat, it looked pretty hot. He locked his eyes on me, giving me a smirk. I glance away, looking forwards.
We know that we are starting to reach the boundary when the floor starts to grow snakes.
Snakes, that's original.
The air grows thin, the world starting to swivel on its axis. Colors swirl before me, ranging all through the spectrum. I gape in disbelief, trying to keep my balance.
Its beauty is astonishing. If we ever got out of this world, I would miss it.
I reached out, moving my fingers along the colors. I smiled like a little kid, and watched as it moved with my touch.
Lights grew brighter, blinding me.
Then the lights start to dim, and I make out some shapes.
The rest of my friends look around, also gaping in disbelief. We were all seeing this, then.
I make out a road, cars rushing past.
Wait, what.
We were back. We found our way back. But, this wasn't my home anymore. I found a new family, and we had to get back to destroy the queen before she destroys all the worlds.
