DEALING WITH SOLEVAN

CHAPTER FIVE
"Here" Fall held out a cup of hot coffee.
I grabbed over.
That situation just few minutes was still shocking to me. The anger was simmered down and started to not make sense for me being angry. Anna would of course deny everything that she did. Why would she admit it if she made it clear a threat to me?
"I don't think Jayden would take it to heart"
"You think so?" I smirked, "I had done more than enough to ruin everything. I doubt Jayden had such big heart to forgive and forget."
Fall smiled, "You still have a long way to know the real Jayden."
I laughed with Fall, "I wish"
Fall patted on me, trying to give me some comfort. Just then, Fall's phone rang. She picked up, "Yes. Okay"
Her eyes turned to me and flashed a quick wink, "C'mon Mrs. Solevan, he's waiting."
--
Jayden stuffed his hand in the pocket, looking out of his glass windows. I walked close but kept a distance, standing as I waited for what he wanted to say. He turned around, gazing at me. "I hope you have calmed down to talk"
"Anna visited earlier and we were discussing about the wedding..." He paused and corrected himself, "About our wedding that was supposed to be held tomorrow"
Discussing? Supposed to?
"I'm not sure how this would sound" Jayden walked over, "With all the emotions that you were going through, you probably need some time to sort it out. I admit it's my fault, I shouldn't have rush the wedding out."
I smirked, "So the wedding is cancelled? And you need to discuss the aftermath of cancelling the wedding with your ex-girlfriend?"
He folded his arms, looking at me bizarre. Then he let out a big laugh, "This is like the first time I see you oozing with so much of jealousy"
My forehead cringed in confusion. Jayden is not taking it to heart? He should be lecturing me right now of my past few days' actions. Walking over to the sofa that they were sitting before, I decided to give myself a break and sat down.
"Anyway" Jayden followed over and took a seat beside, "why did you came to my office?"
I turned away, "I-I... wasn't looking for you"
His hand stretched over, grabbed mine. Those dazzling eyes kept its gaze deep on mine as it make my heart flutter. I gulped, trying to take back my hand but was held back even harder. His lips raised a little, whispered with that sexy husky voice. "You're making me a little less important, Mrs. Solevan"
I coughed, "I'm not-"And his lips locked on mine, biting my upper lip as he held me closer. My eyes shut as I embraced his passion. Jayden circled his hand around my waist, holding me as he hungrily explored my mouth with his tongue. That entwined touch of our tongues sent me burning. I panted as I felt my knees weak, hands helplessly laid on his chest.
Jayden pulled back, gazing me with those dazzling eyes. "Say it again that you're not and your skirt is going to be the next victim"
I frowned, "This is... an office"
He smirked, "Yes, this is my office and I can endeavour my fiancée right here if I want to"
"What if..." I panicked, "anyone barge in and see..."
He shook his head, eyes were still on me. "No one dares to barge into my office like you did"
He let go, allowing me the space to breathe. I held my cheek that were blushing with both of my hands. My eyes widened at his absurd moves just minutes ago. Jayden laughed as he pinched my cheek, "How can I be so helpless with that cute face of yours?"
I brushed his hand off, "Why did Anna come to your office?"
He startled for a second before laughing again, "So are you questioning me as my fiancée?"
"You answer first"
He shook his head, "You really do no deals"
"I am not in the wrong but you are" I emphasized, "meeting an ex-girlfriend"
Jayden raised his eyebrow, "This is no secretive hangouts and CCTVs are everywhere. Anyway, Anna suggested to be our wedding planner"
"Our Wedding Planner?!" I stood up, raising my voice. "What kind of witchcraft spell she put you to believe her nonsense?"
Jayden let out a sigh. He grabbed my hand and pulled me to sit back again. "I wanted to do things right. Since she pleaded for this as a closure on our relationship, I guess why not."
I smirked, folded my arms as I stared at him in disbelief. "Closure?"
"You don't seem convinced."
I raised my voice, "Obviously not. Who in the right mind would think its fine to have her fiancé's ex-girlfriend to plan for their wedding? And are you kidding me that this is her way of having a closure on your and her relationship?"
"Anna..." Jayden replied, "-does have her own way dealing with pain"
I stared at him displease, "I am not agreeing with this kind of nonsense"
He held my hands, exercising dominance, "We can talk about the wedding plans again" and he handed a name card. I took it over and had a closer look. Kornel Movers?
My eyebrow raised a notch, "What is this?"
"Call them to arrange and move your stuff back"
My lips parted before I looked back at the card and him again, "Move my stuff back... to where?"
Jayden left the seat and walked over to his desk. He took one of the files casually and started signing the papers, "Back to our home of course. I have re-purchased our apartment. You can arrange for anytime to move back the stuff"
I stood up, walked over. Staring at him in bizarre. "We are not getting married tomorrow so why am I moving the stuff over?"
"We're just not getting married tomorrow" He emphasized, "Although I acknowledge that you need some time for yourselves but I prefer to see you at home every day after work."
I threw the name card on his desk. Fuming in silence, I took my steps and headed to the door.
"If you can't decide when, I will help you to move your stuff back tomorrow."
I paused, let out a sigh and turned back to his desk. My hand grabbed over the name card and took my exit. Before the door closed behind me, Jayden finished off his words, "I don't have much patience. Don't make me wait too long."
